    Please help..

Hello Valerie, thank you so much for your kind words! I have been keeping a low calorie count, but I have not been consuming as much protein as I should. I wish you the best of luck on the rest of your journey...Xo
  3. Hello all, It seems that I have come to a plateau and would like some advice and or words of encouragement so that I can get back on track. I had lower limb surgery in December which has caused me to be less active in my daily life activity. I know this is what has caused my weight loss to stop and I’m confident I’ve gained ~3 to 5lbs. I don’t want to lose hope and I want to continue my weight loss progress successfully. If anyone has any advice on how to get back on track it would truly be appreciated. Thank you.

    Feeling Discouraged..

As I mentioned above- I am getting more than enough fluid in, but not protein. Also, i exercise regularly since given the green light to do so after surgery..

    Feeling Discouraged..

I am getting enough fluids, but lacking on the protein. I have to work on that, it's been hard to keep much down.
  6. I've been doing everything to the T as the saying goes and I seem to be in a stall and not seeing any results at 3 months out..

    Need advice asap!

No, I have not. I wanted to wait until my 3 month post op to do so. However, it may help to start doing so now I guess since I'm not seeing much of the difference... Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Need advice asap!

I've been relying on softer foods and soups as well. It's been hard trying to keep any solids down thus far. How is your progress? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. Hello everyone, I'm about 6 weeks almost 7 weeks post op this upcoming Monday. I've lost 30lbs overall since the last time I weighed myself which was on my one month post op on 1/12/17. However, I'm not seeing a difference or feeling much different and am beginning to feel discouraged. Does anyone have any advice? I don't want to feel like this anymore. Also, what is or was everyone eating at this point in their journey? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. Thank you very much for that!! I can barely get in three bites without having the feeling of it coming back up. I am convinced my new pouch is not ready for all solids yet. However, as I mentioned previously, I will continue to take it day by day and try again slowly Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  12. I couldn't agree more! I will continue with my soft foods until I feel my body is ready to handle other foods. There is no need to rush and as long as I'm keeping in contact with my surgeon and meeting my Protein requirements, all is well! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  14. It isn't whatsoever. I spoke to him regarding this he just told me to introduce new foods little by little and to go with whatever I'm able to tolerate. If this persists he will schedule some testing, but I'm hoping it doesn't need to get that far!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
