  1. It’s been a while since I’ve posted a status. Well, I quit my job at the beginning of the year. Yay! Now I have time to focus on my body. Been at the gym consistently this week. Thank God for muscle memory, it’s real. I’m sore but that’s a GREAT thing at this point. I’m still going strong on my WFPB lifestyle. I won’t ever turn back. I did have a little turkey one Thanksgiving and a little ham on a Christmas though. It was good but not enough to make me stumble. Lol. I’m just about 8months post (in three days) and I’m down 81 lbs from my highest and 74 from surgery. Blood work is always good and no complications ever. One of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. I’ll post pics next status.

Now, I hope I can claim all my expenses from surgery for tax time. Lol

About taxes...the standard deduction for married filing jointly is what? How much did you have to spend on medical expenses to file itemized? Taxes are confusing!

@winknsmile, filing married/jointly. I believe the standard deduction is $12,700. I don’t ever make it more than that in deductions, but I usually figure it all out every year (ya never know). I don’t know what I’ve spent on my medical so far, but I know it’s over $3000 for WLS expenses. There’s a certain bracket for itemizing medical but I haven’t looked that up yet.
