I get to my gym this morning to find a note plastered on the door that they’ll be closed temporarily (like a few months) due to construction needing to be done. Okay, that’s fine. But why didn’t they inform their members in advance? Sigh... Anyway, I have the option to drive clear across town to three other locations, but not sure I want to. Would you drive or suck it up and try and workout at home?

Update: My husband says, "So, now that you don't work anymore, what do you have to do that will keep you from driving to another location?" Uhhhhhh......LOL My answer, "Nothing. Then I guess I'll just drive over there!" ...geeze, I found myself having excuses, which didn't help me in obesity. Now that I think about it, I had the same excuse when I was a stay at home mom a few years back..."there's no gym close by", ...well, that kept me in trouble, along with my terrible diet.

I would drive to the nearest location. My gym is across the street from my job which is a 1 hour - 1 hour and a half ride on public transportation. I make it a point to head there even on my off days as they are open only Monday - Fridays 6 am - 8 pm.
I agree with your husband. You do not have a reason to not drive across town and workout.

@Sleeve1stFitNext Definitely won't be complaining about location/time anymore!!!! 1-1.5 hours!? Eeee! Thank you hon.
I took the scenic route, which is along the ocean/bay...where all the million dollar homes are. It was so beautiful, so I will continue to embrace the (little) journey. haha
