    Working out a lot

All that working out and so little calories equals stalls and weight gain in the long run. Try to eat a bit more, you'll see it start to move again.

    Baby Food?

I'm glad you asked that cause I'd like to know too. I've considered buying baby food and adding spices to them. Not sure yet. I'm May 15th as well! 😊

    hunger 13 months out

If your stomach is actually growling, then you may not be eating enough to be hungry every 1.5 hours. Or if you're working out, goes back to not eating enough. Could also be that you're just thirsty. Hard to say without details.

    Finally done

Sounds like normal surgery pre-op directions. That's pretty cool. And if it's working for all of his patients, then I wouldn't see why it couldn't work down the road. BUT, there are some, or many, who might need the longer pre-op diet with liquids and restricted foods. It makes good practice. Congrats on your surgery! Blessings to you.

    Doubts?

We all do it seems. Some more than others. I'm pretty positive most of the times, but it creeps in on me. Just shoo it away and keep working on yourself. You can do it. If ya have to, take a poo pill the day before your appointment. 😊💩
  9. It's all in my head.  I just got a the realization that I'll be starting my pre-op on Monday.  All of a sudden, I got hungry.  LOL

    Isn't that just awful!?

      Sweet as peaches

@Newme17 and @Thejeweledsleeve I was thinking the same thing but I couldn't get what I wanted which was a pot of homemade beans so I settled for hot dogs as my last meat supper. Tomorrow it gets real. Today, someone gave me two sodas, two bag of Doritos and bag of powder donuts which I totally gave away. I am super stoked.

      @Sweet as peaches....it's real now!!!

So glad you gave away that junk. I know that person probably thought it was a nice gesture, but seriously!?

I tried to eat a little Taco Bell last night. I don't know why. I don't like Taco Bell and all it did was make my stomach hurt. Even post op I won't ever go back to Taco Bell. 🤢 Back to my healthier options. My body is now rejecting those terrible foods. Yay!!!

    Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
  16. Good read. Be encouraged that even this factor has a role in how you lose your weight https://www.google.com/amp/www.womenshealthmag.com/weight-loss/where-do-you-lose-weight-first%3Famp

    Scale lying?

There are some factors playing in this. The clothes are a brand that are smaller than others. You're losing inches/fat in other areas first. You have lost that weight, but maybe holding water for a short time. Overall, you're down 25 lbs-congrats on that! I wouldn't worry about your clothes so much. Just keep doing what you're doing to lose the weight.

    Denial letter

The 16th has passed....are you sleeved? Or can I assume you mean the 26th of april, in a couple of days?
  21. Tried Fairlife chocolate milk today. A bit too sweet for my taste but it had 19g of protein. I think I'd milk it down though (pun intended)(add plain almond milk) for less sweetness.

I don't know why companies make their drinks super sweet. I think if it was a tad sweetened, we'd all be better off without all the artificial sweeteners and sugars. I really like unsweetened almond milk with vanilla. It's perfect. But obviously doesn't have as much protein as Fairlife. If it did, that's all I'd drink. 😊

    Advice and Support Needed!

Learn to not drink with your meals. Wait at least 30-45 mins after eating to drink. Probably the hardest thing after sipping everything ever. I'm still pre-op and having a hard time doing it (for the past three months), I met someone who is post op and she's still having a hard time. If you can get that pat down then that's one great habit to have by the time of your surgery.

    Starbucks Unicorn Frappucino

I don't like sweet sugary drinks so there's no way I'd even try it. Most people don't pay attention to nutritional eerrr....un-nutritional facts so it's scary to know that many will be pumping the case of obesity and diabetes in their bodies. Not cool Starbucks.
