  1. 67! Wow. Lol. I'm cold with mine at 75 and I haven't even had surgery yet. I sure hope it doesn't get colder for me. @Paul Bahr I've read many posts of people being cold after surgery as well. Seems to be the "normal " case for a select few.

  4. There's a new product at the BP store, BP's Multivitamins....for 6.99. No reviews on it...seems to have all the vitamins needed, etc. Has anyone seen this or tried these yet? For 6.99, wow...that's a great price! https://store.bariatricpal.com/collections/multivitamins/diet-type_aspartame-free
  5. Currently shopping for multi and calcium citrate.  Ordered my b-12 sub on Amazon.  Insurance is giving me folic acid/Vit D and premier protein shakes.

These only go up to DDD? Perhaps they kind of stretch for fit an H maybe?
  8. Thank you so much for posting your pics! I'm truly inspired. I would LOVE to be C/D--currently H. So, hopefully in 18 months time I'll be able to go through this as well. My husband told me that he dreamt we were discussing a TT and Breast Lift for me. YAY!!! .....I'd totally go without the implants.

What kinds of places did you go? Maybe we can chime in to what they may have mushy-wise for you?
  11. Today is a new day.  I will be positive and joyful.  LOL  Now that I said that, let's see what comes my way to try and get me off of my joyful high.  My kid's behaviors, hubby not listening to me (lol), an obstacle in the way of our remodel?  I will laugh through it.  Ha! (I'll have to update later.....)

So, I'm up early on a Sat morning.  It's somewhat usual.  I'm enjoying the QUIET of the house and drinking my last iced coffee, made with Chameleon brand cold brew, almond milk (unsweetened), and a tad almond creamer, caramel flavoring.  I have been having decaf for the past month or so, but I allow one cup of regular coffee once a week.  So this is my last and I'm enjoying it. :)

Pre-op starts Monday for me.  I'm to have a shake and go pick up my pre-op paperwork from the center I'm going to.  They said it'll take about 10-15 mins to go over.  I failed to ask if that's when I make my payment or not.  I'm going to pay using my cash rewards card, even though I have the cash (will just turn around and pay it off).  Why not make money, right?  I'll be doing two shakes and a meal for two weeks.  Of course, the meal will be restricted.  Not sure about snacks though.  I'm a snacker....and that's going to be the hardest part for me.  Overall, I'm ready to get this show on the road!!!

@Brit in Oz, great job hon. I'm glad to hear some normalcy to the diet at 6 weeks. I, too, cook healthy at home (always had). So I'll be able to participate with my family more later. My problem has always been snacks, I think. Not so healthy, but I do love raw veggies. We'll see what the pre-op diet entails for me in a couple of hours.

    Before and After Pics

Great job!!! How about dem Cowboys!? ⭐️(Wish it were blue) 😊
  14. Had a way better day than yesterday, that's for sure. Slipped up for one slice of pizza, but ate my plant based foods for lunch and dinner, protein shake for breakfast. I've already determined that I will not go all out my last day before pre-op, simply for the fact that I literally feel sick when I eat bad. Acid indigestion flares up too. I haven't had it for so long, but yesterday's ordeal was just awful. To somewhat make up for it, I did an hour of Just Dance with my daughters. That made me feel so wonderful (besides the cramping in the feet) that I was thinking to unfreeze my gym account to go back, but the pain from my shoulder injury crept up today. 😑 I miss my weights. I miss the gym. I miss seeing that I can literally do more weight then most women (yes, I'm very competitive) and even some guys. I miss it....boohoohoo. 😭 I feel my body getting too limp. Sigh....I will be back. May God heal my shoulder while I lose this weight to enjoy my workouts again!!!

    Two more days.....pre-op time!!! Yay!!!

It is okay. I cheated my first 1 day. I b-lined it to Subway eat fresh. I was soo happy and then I got serious and did not make any other mistakes.

Thank you @Martinichic, I hope you get released soon. Those three weeks can make a difference, but if you're post op, then yes, you'll have to wait. Blessings to you hon on your journey too!

@Thejeweledsleeve I think it's serious time for me...I allowed quite a bit this last week and I don't need anymore. :) The best part is....even though I allowed some foods I know I shouldn't have had, I always felt super sick afterwards. I don't want or need that again. I'm okay with not eating bad foods ever again. I really am. It's having to condition my body to not crave those foods. That's the hardest. Our bodies always wanting those terrible foods we've eaten for so long...and making a good habit of doing without them (during this pre-op) is a good thing. I choose to go with the good and my body will have to just learn and take it.

  15. If you're losing inches and gaining, it is indeed muscle. Great job! That's the kind of "losing" that changes the physique.
  16. That one fails to input your activity levels. Try this one: http://eatmore2weighless.com/weight-loss-calculator/
  17. You can still build muscle lifting weights 2-3 times a week. You don't have to go 6 times a week to do that. @James Marusek, I believe (and assuming) he's not at goal yet, thus would like to lose some more fat. He also didn't state he was jogging. Different equations here.
  18. They're absolutely right. There's got to be the right balance for your body with exercise and diet. Exercising too much and eating so little is a recipe for killing your metabolism. Just as exercising very little or not at all and eating way too much is. There a few other recipes that'll do it as well. Do this with trust, your body will thank you. I've seen it all too many times here, people stalling...why? Most are not eating enough. You can only do such a small amount for such a short time. I've also mentioned that unless you are 4'2" and weigh 80 lbs, than a 1200 calorie diet to maintain is what is needed, but most of us are taller and heavier than that. So we need to figure it out. A good place to start is first with your doc/nut, but you can also check out your numbers here: http://eatmore2weighless.com/weight-loss-calculator/

    Did you lose your boobs?

    I am rolling!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@Sweet as peaches and @Newme17 you both got this. I have total faith and support in you both!!!

I'll accept that faith you have and apply it as well. I was already battling whether I should finish something ate today, for tomorrow. I think I'll just say no (give it to my hubby) and call it quits on eating everything in sight.

I managed to do an hour of Just Dance with my girls. All 251 pounds moved. 😂 after I sat down with sweat rolling off for a bit, drank a bottle of water, and took a shower, I felt so much better. Kept thinking how much better I'll feel without this fat and dancing. Another reason I can't fall like I did today. Got to keep on fighting, the prize is near.

  21. Do you have insurance? Did you go through insurance for surgery? If so, go to http://www.insurenutrition.com/category_list.php?parent_id=24&cid=28 and see if your insurance will cover the protein shakes. They also have some vitamins you can get as well. I got premier protein and vitamin d with folic acid covered by insurance. Check out this website for bariatric vitamins. Says that most people get all the vitamins they need for $25 or less. https://www.nascobal.com/patient/why-nutrition-direct Hope this helps!!!

    Meal Replacement Protein Powder

VegaOne nutritional shake supplement! It's delicious. 20g a scoop. I don't care for whey (health wise) but I will be using it temporarily since I've got protein premier covered by my insurance. After I'm cleared food wise, definitely back to VegaOne products.

    Working out a lot

I should add, you should consider upping your carbs on weight train days, at least. You'll burn them off anyway. Your body will need them.
