  1. My runs have stopped too. Borderline constipation, although I'm happy to say I had a small bm earlier. Keep drinking your water, I hope you and your bum feels better. Hon.
  2. My first day wasn't that good either. I would say, add some milk to your scrambled egg when cooking. It'll be lighter and softer. I'd probably thin the mashed potatoes out a bit too. Try these again like that. I've also noticed that food goes down much better when I'm standing up. So I've been eating and pacing. Did you get a burp anytime after a bite? If so, that might be an indicator to stop. It is for me. I've noticed it was really hard to gauge when I was going to be full. Now, just a few days later, I understand my sleeve a bit more. I also feel truly hungry now. Oh, and I've always waited before going to exercise after eating, but I always feel better walking at a leisurely pace after eating these days. I'm sure once I start eating more (1-3 years from now), then I'll have to wait a while for it to settle again. But it feels nice once you're done.
  3. I just drank another protein drink and had some chicken bouillon. I picked up my daughter from school and went straight home to get a cheese stick to nibble on to go pick up my youngest from her school. I was fine after that. I didn't get hungry again until maybe 6:30ish. So it was approximately 3 hours in between. Had thinned out black beans AGAIN! Lol. I love that stuff. My husband made eggs and bacon, he was so grateful to be able to cook again. So I had him throw a tablespoon worth of scrambled eggs in other my beans. Listened to my body, wrapped the rest (breakfast tomorrow), and went for a walk with my two youngest girls. I feel great. 😊
  4. Mistake: I'm hungry. I came to work with no food, just protein drinks. They're not satisfying me at all. I really think my metabolism has reset!!! YAY! Now, I've learned my lesson....bring a cheese stick. LOL

  6. Yeah, MOM makes me gag, it's so gross. After I had posted, it moved a little. I went a little. Still feel like there is more to do, but nothing.
  7. Um...not sure and I don't think it is...but I'm having terrible gas these past two days. It was happening before I ate my beans last night, so I don't believe that is the culprit. I haven't had a BM since Mon or Tues, so I'm wondering if maybe its the start of constipation. If I don't have one today, I'll start some benefiber or miralax. Ugh....don't want to take anything else, but will if I have too.
  8. Besides the school work part, you described me. Ha! I'm glad you had a good day at work too. Feels nice to have a routine again, eh? Or is that just me? maybe cause I've got three kids too. lol
  9. Oh hon, take it easy. I'm sure your stomach is healing nicely now too to be able to add those foods in the future.

    Not in my plan. No calorie counting for me. Thank God! Just the old fashioned listen to your body. Eat when hungry. Etc.

  13. I did!!! I actually braved bean and cheese again! Haha. This time I added mushroom broth to the bean to thin it out a bit. I walked around while eating it (seems to help). Once I felt a burp coming on, it was time to stop! I had almost 2 tbsp worth. There was just one tiny bite left, and I knew it wouldn't be good just finish it. So I stopped. This will take some discipline to not finish everything on the plate. I'm pretty good with doing that when it's more than a few bites left, but it was kind of hard seeing one bite left.
  14. I found myself having head hunger. Although I suspect it won't be long till I am actually hungry. Usually gets that way a little later.
  15. Thank you hon. The before pics are just horrendous, ok...not horrendous, but not up to my preference. We bought this little house knowing we were to change it down the road, but I just couldn't take it anymore. Lol id have to find the pics.
  16. So I added some accessories to make it look cuter unfinished. Don't mind my list written on the wall. That's going to be shiplap too. 😊
  17. Okay, so here's my so-far kitchen. Still have the subway backsplash, cabinet hardware, shiplap ceiling, new light fixture, 3 can lights, crown molding, and new stove to do. Been working on it for two months now. It's at the exciting stage, where it all comes together. It's great to be able to start cooking again.

  20. I got laminate counters actually. My last house had granite, which was nice, but we moved to a smaller house with a tiny kitchen. It's not worth putting more expensive things in it, since we're planning for this house to be a rental in the future. A cute rental btw. 😊 I'll take pics soon and show.

  23. My countertops are being installed RIGHT NOW! Yay! I was hungry, so I decided to try string cheese. Managed 3/4 of it. I think if I had just one more bite I would have been dumping or just felt sick. Otherwise the cheese went down just fine.
  24. Whoa baby! Glad you limited yourself. My 4 year old is 29 pounds. 😂 I could see how you might be pooped. Seems you had a good time with her though. Is she your only grand?
