hi,today is my firstday on my liquid diet. my surgery date is January 25, i am so excited, but a whole month of a liquid diet will take a lot of creativity! are your 3 shakes a day protien shakes? Have you thought of using V8 Juice? I'll have to ask my surgeon about eating jello? when is your surgery?

love love my coffee, currently drinking half decaf and regular. Will switch to full decaf for my 2 wee pre and post op but then its back to maybe half of each or fully caffeinated I don't mind decaf But the flavor just isn't the same! I tried the vanilla Protein shake as a creamer yuk! Now looking to see if Coffee Mate makes no fat or sugarless Italian Sweet Cream or maybe just black I usually am a one or two cups a day drinker. Any other ideas? ☺

Hi I am in Tulsa and will have my surgery at Bailey Medical Center at the hospital in Owasso. Looking forward to a January surgery date.. There is a support group in Owasso at Bailey Medical center. I would prefer Tulsa because I don't drive in the dark and the meeting starts at 6! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App -
I take so many mess right now and have for years. The worst is the potassium huge horse pills! Two of them four times a day. The others are smaller . What I think you are saying is that if you take any pills for life the sleeve is a better choice? Is that right? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

I am looking forward to a date in January. I should know by next Friday. What a Christmas present that would be! I am still on the fence between the sleeve or the RnY. The RnY is reversible while the sleeve is not. The sleeve, you end up with a banana shaped stomach and two thirds of your stomach is removed...gone forever, the other is when the surgeon bypasses the stomach and attaches the the 2ends of the intestine. And, is reversible! The surgeon will have ore info fore too but I have heard that the bypass is a better choice if you are diabetic, which I am. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
