I am almost to my goal weight and now i have a whole new set of problems aka loose skin. Def going to need a body lift. So yes i am in the same boat

Ive run into this problem myself. But now since i am thin.. i have a new problem. LOOSE SKIN. Its going to happen. It makes me really insecure while meeting new guys. I've just decided to focus on myself and not worry about men rn.

DON'T BE SCARED! but I will say, if you cannot change your lifestyle after then this will not be for you. Its a full time Job. Takes a lot of self discipline and dedication to commit. You will not be able to enjoy foods like before. If you try its painful and you will feel like ****. On the other hand its the best thing i ever did for myself! I had zero complications and just followed exactly what my doc/ surgeon told me to do. I am 9 pounds away from my goal as of today! Congratulations <3 also I highly suggest you join a support group on FB! Find one that was sleeved/rny that same month as you so you have a group of people on the same page as you!

There are a couple things you can do. First make sure you are getting all you protein in! Second sometimes even if you are, you still shed hair. Everyone is diff! But use good shampoos for thinning hair and take biotin. It will pass. You can also use toppik to fill in areas that look thin on your head. It is hair fibers. its awesome! Hope this helps!

Maintaining a strict diet is difficult, but more difficult when you have to travel to NYC! So many incredible places to eat. Obviously I can stick to the basics. Chicken/fish with veggies, salads etc. But does anyone recommend any places specifically!? thanks <3

girl! YOU LOOK GREAT. keep up the good work. Don't be scared, you've been reborn! it's ok to have some days where you loose control. it means you're human... but just keep tabs on it. Start food logging, meal prepping and doing anything extra to keep your mind off of the self sabotage. We are all in the same boat. WE ALL SUPPORT YOU.

Does anyone have a OCD format on a schedule for water intake or meal planning ?

I am being sleeved next month and so afraid. AFRAID, i will regret if something bad happens. I don't wanna be in pain... or miss out on stuff socially. did anyone else feel like this , then go the surgery and felt dumb for giving themselves any doubt?

I'm scheduled for surgery March 3 and work hasn't approved my time off yet. Very nervous. Nervous about everything, my co-workers aren't supportive and I'm afraid of compilations. any good vibes my way would be highly kind. <3

Hello! I am getting the gastric sleeve and need to give my work some sort of idea. Ideally, I would like to return ASAP. I work in fashion apparel and sit at a desk 24/7 with travel at different times of the year. I can schedule my surgery to be far away from traveling. But how long did it take for most of you to return ?

I'm a vocalist. worried it will ruin my vocal chords.

i went through a 12 week program and then met with surgeon. I have lost about 30 pounds and doing well. I decided to go with the sleeve. I then asked my boss for a couple weeks off for surgery and he replied with " not till 4th quarter" which is Sept. I work in fashion apparel and its absurd. what are my rights?

don't think so. I mean I was very successful with my pre weight loss, lost about 30 pounds and i'm just afraid that I will loose momentum for surgery or become to small to qualify.

my work basically wont let me take off two weeks until September. Which is really frustrating. is that illegal ?
