I was told that all carbonated beverages must be given up for life as there is evidance the carbonation can stretch your sleeve. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

Wow, I'm suprised by these responses. I'm only planning to take a week off. I sit at a desk in a private office. I figured I would be just as uncomfortable at home as I would be at work. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

I'm scheduled for VSG for 2/13. I'm looking forward to it. Fortunately, I have a very busy schedule for the next six weeks so I'm expecting the time to just fly by.

I spent 30 minutes filling out questionnaires and drawing pictures. Then he talked to me for 15 minutes max then told me he was reccomending me for the surgery. Seemed a bit rushed as there were others lined up in the waiting room. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

Can I lie - hernia op?
FamilyGuyNJ replied to bossportsgal's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Regardless if you lie or keep it a secret, people will figure out what happened after you lose a whole bunch of weight very quickly. A woman in my office said she had her "galbladder" removed, then proceeded to drop about 100 lbs in six months. No one was fooled. I recommend telling your boss the truth, but asking them to keep it private. Show your boss that you have a level of trust with them. Other people will eventually figure it out on their own. -
I'm scheduled for 2/13/17. My first appointment was back on 10/13. After that appointment, I stopped snacking and drinking alcohol. I started using MyFitnessPal to track calories. I managed to lose a quick 30 pounds in two months. The first 30 lbs is always the easiest to lose and the quickest to regain. I figured that I'll lose the "easy" weight on my own and then get help from the sleeve to finish the job. I hope to have lost 50 lbs before the time of surgery.

Nerve Pain in the Thigh - Ideas Please
FamilyGuyNJ replied to BigDog Bryan's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have the same peoblem for 2 years now. As per Jhawaiianhny, its caused by degenerative osteoarthritis in the spine. Losing weight should lessen the pain, but the damage is done. I find going to a chiropractor helps to relieve the pressure where the nerve is being pinched. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App -
I enjoy the vanilla. I poured some in my coffe just last week. I was pleasantly suprised. I ordered Caramel extract off Amazon today. Im going to try that with the vanilla PP this week. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App
