Hi Rachel, I'm 206 at 5'6. I've been feeling the exact same way, wondering how much I'd lose and would this huge surgery be worth it. I've told no one but my husband, he's very supportive but doesn't truly understand the struggle. I so appreciate your post and all the replies. My surgery is in 2 days! Dec 13th. 2 days pre op and I'm pretty freaked out, I'm afraid of the permanent damage this will do to my body. I'm 5'6 206 and I have no outstanding health issues. I've just struggled my whole life with weigh and I'm tired of it. I see posts about gall bladders, ulcers and other serious conditions, is it worth it? are these pre op feelings norm?
