I'm from Aurora Illinois

I started this journey July 7, 2016. At a weight of 345. After years of being overweight I decided to do something about it. I have sleep apnea,high blood pressure and I'm also taking medicine for cholesterol. This journey has not been easy by any means. But I have to say I have lost weight I'm at 308lbs as of today. My paperwork was submitted to insurance on January 6th for approval and I received the phone call yesterday that I have been waiting patiently waiting for, for the last 6 months. I was approved and my surgery date is March 6th. I'm so happy I can't wait. Now if I can get over the nerves or surgery and post surgery I will be fine lol. But I'm very excited. Well tomorrow Monday 3/6 is the big day. I'm calling it a rebirth. I'm so excited. Good luck to everyone having surgery tomorrow. ......

Anybody else getting sleeved on Monday? If so how are you feeling. I'm excited yet very petrified. Ughhhhh anxiety on high. Can't believe I'm days away from the big day. I did not have that last meal like I've read some people have I'm wondering should I lol. I know I'm not going to I'm super committed to this. But sometimes I wonder..... What did you guys do?

Why am I having anxiety. Never had this before. I'm very excited about the surgery and can't wait. However I'm freaking out don't know why.... Ughhhhh monday the 6 is just around the corner.

I'm not craving as much as I thought I would. However everywhere I look there is food advertising and it looks so good lol. I call it food porn. Lol But the devil is a liar I'm not gonna budge. Good luck to you

Can't wait to get to the other side. And start losing lots of this weight. I think once I'm on the bed and they give me the "Coctail" I'll be ok. It's when I wake up from it that I'm more nervous about. But I know I can do this I'm not letting my brain and food stop me from achieving a healthier me.

Monday is the big day. I got all my pain meds and blood clot injections nausea meds and spirometer sage cloths chewable gas X my cpap masks my clothes toothbrush hair brush deodorant decaf tea. What else should pack ughhhhhh

On my way to get my preop blood work done. OMG 6 DAYS and counting. I can't wait. However I'm so scared all together not so much the surgery but the recoup petrifies me not knowing what pain I'm going to be in... but I can do this. food and fear will not get the best of me. I'm going to do this. Skinny me coming soon. Yay!!!!!!

Lol my clothes are already falling off... with preop diet.
