hi peteandsummer123! i am so sorry u have no support. i dont think id be able to do this journey without my support. I can only tell u what i experienced-it may not be the same for u...when i woke up from surgery mon i was in recovery. all i did was sleep the first night. the hospital gives u medicine for the pain. the pain med they send u home with is diff than in the hospital but the pain should be getting better after a few days. i haven had any constipation at all so i cant advise u on that. just being woken up every hr it seemed like in the hospital is frustrating-vitals,meds,bloodclotinjection, walk walk walk & sip sip sip. i am not sure what ur home diet will look like but im on 2 wks post op liquid. it is hard as well. i felt so dehydrated last night it was bad so just try ur best to sip. u can do this. im here for u!! ❤️ Sent from my iPhone

i hear ya! days like today is what got me where i am now. Christmas Breakfast is HUGE in my family: cheese eggs, pork roll, scrapple, turkey bacon, maple sausage, pancakes & ham! but not for me this year. i just laid on couch crying today. the breakfast looked soooooo delicious. maybe one day i will be able to eat some of that! just keep strong my friends..i am here for u during this challenging time! ❤️ Sent from my iPhone

help! how to tell if im dehydrated? sleeve surgery was Mon. home Wed. thought i was drinking enough Water but today i been really nauseous & i only had 12 oz of water w/2oz of Jello. now im dizzy. besides, my iud is making me bleed which is not right. i been checking my bp & its creeping up, now im at 197/107...how can this be? i havent taken a pain med since the hospital. what do i do??? i dont want to go back to hosp! @nursemichelle7---thanks for the advice last night! i feel good rt now as i continue to sip. @lipsticklady---i shared nothing out the ordinary & i am ok. thanks. ---i know not to expect a dx from ppl on the internet but i wanted to know if my sx's were normal or troublesome, thats all. whether nursemichelle is a nurse or not she was helpful & caring. if i was in that bad of shape i would of went to ER. this is a forum---its ok to ask q's! @baileymedlin24-yes! almost 1wk down. pretty exciting. but these darn tv commercials about kfc, pizza hut & mcdonalds are killing me!!! no healthy commercials n im just trying to watch football. lol. im going to do 1 more wk of liquids before pureed but already thinking of my list for the store: eggs, chicken, tuna, pudding & applesauce(unsweetened of course) yum! i can drink Water just fine but the Protein shakes are gross. i just ate Jello. i can also sip on Powerade zero. i never really paid attn to how much i rely on sugar before i had to switch to no calorie n sugarfree stuff.
