    The losers bench.

    That is awesome!! Congratulations!
  2. I am a little over nine weeks post op and I usually eat about 800-900 calories, but I do exercise for 30-45 minutes every day. I use the Isopure Protein and I also found it overwhelming at first. I would seriously be gagging every day as I drank it. At my follow up with my doctor, he suggested adding some lemon juice to my Protein shakes to take some of the sweetness out of them and now that's what I do now. I even actually enjoy them now.
  3. I am 8 weeks out now. At my 10 day follow up, I'd lost 22 lbs. Then shortly after that, I stalled for 20 days. I was doing everything right so I understand your frustration. However, after that 20 days, the lbs started melting away. I'm now at a 38 lb. loss, but have again been stalled for almost two weeks. I think this is just the way it works. And even though I've been stalled for 2 weeks, my clothes feel looser and people keep telling me I look like I've lost more weight. Sometimes, even when we don't see the scale move, change is happening. Try to hang in there and be patient. You will see the weight come off. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Could I be stalling already?

I hit a stall at the 2 1/2 week mark that lasted 20 days. It freaked me out so much but after that 20 days, the pounds started melting off again. I'm now 8 weeks out and have hit another stall. I just keep trying to remind myself that as long as I'm doing what I'm supposed to do, my body will eventually do what it's supposed to do. Good luck to you and just try to be patient (even though I know it's hard).
  8. I had gastric bypass surgery on 11/18. My pre-op weight was 252 and coming home from the hospital, I weighed 262 (I think because of all the Fluid build up). On my 10-day post op appointment, I weight 240. However, I am now 19 days post op and have lost nothing since my 10 day post op appointment. Is this normal? I'm following all of my surgeons instructions to the letter! It's so discouraging.
