dredfern started following So Tired! , Kratom, anyone?, Very saggy lady bits and only half way there! and and 7 others
-
I just started using Kratom myself, it works wonders. I also use CBD, so much better than pharmaceuticals. I'm 3 1/2 years out and have been able to reach and maintain my goal weight. I could probably stand to gain about 6 lbs, but feel great!

I'm afraid if I get a tummy tuck, it would have to be tucked up so far, I'd end up with a beard

Look for Ladies Monkey Butt powder, it really helps with chafing. If you can't find it in stores, it's available on Amazon. Besides it's a funny name to say :). Good luck on your journey.

When were you allowed low fat cream soups?
dredfern replied to FatPharm's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
One of my very favorites was split pea soup that I thinned with a bit of Fairlife nonfat milk and ran through the Magic Bullet to make sure it was really smooth. This was about 10 days out from RNY. Not sure if it's different for sleevers. -

Please help! I'm in a dilemma.

I'm a gastric bypass patient (18 months out) I'm able to use Tylenol (approved by my surgeon and NUT) with no issues whatsoever. I went with this procedure because I had diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and an irregular heart rate. All of these issues have resolved themselves :). -
Make sure to get all of your liquids in, that will help with constipation. Also walk as much as you can, that helped me tremendously.

I did in the beginning, I'm now 18 months out and have a good feel for how much I need/am eating.

Would You Have Weight Loss Surgery Again?
dredfern replied to Alex Brecher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Without a doubt, best thing I have ever done for myself and my loved ones -
I'm 18 months out and am able to tolerate/enjoy both. I did wait until I was about 4 months out to introduce them back in to my diet.

Good luck Candygyrl, I hope you can make things right with your husband. If not, I hope you do the right thing and let him go...

Anyone tried stomach taping or bandaging?

I think the only thing people will notice are your amazing boobs LOL. Mine totally went South after WLS. You look stunning, I would recommend finding a good seamstress and have something custom made out of compression material. Good luck on your new life. -

Please take it easy and allow your body to heal, I hope you're feeling better soon. I gave my family a "to do" list and that worked out great.

Day 2 Post Op - What to drink and when? Advice please.
dredfern replied to Akka's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I relied heavily on low sodium broth, sugar free popcicles, lukewarm water. Didn't worry about protein the first 10 days or so, just tried to get as much hydration as possible. Don't get dehydrated, you will suffer with terrible constipation (TMI). -
Boy, I sure do feel sorry for your husband, he deserves better...
