My sleeve was done on 1/3, so I'm at 6wks post op. I'm down 37.5 pounds!

Today I am 1wk post-op from my sleeve surgery! Most of the chest pressure from when I drink is gone, thankfully! My bowels are working and I'm not nauseous! Praise the Lord for all these things! My stomach muscles are on the mend but still a bit sore when bending over or getting up. I have lots of bruising on my tummy. Other than that I'm able to do my protien drinks, soups, sf Jello, sf popsicles, greek yogurt & cream of wheat. My first week I lost 6.5lbs! Yaya! Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

I eat Monarch soups. I like the chicken noodle, cream of chicken & tomatoes bail. They are high protein/low carb. I also like Campbell low-fat cream of chicken. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

I was sleeved on the 3rd and most of my gas "chest pressure" is gone. I did use gas x for a few days and it helped. Not sure how you are passing gas, but the past few days I've been full of it and I feel so much better getting it out. I know tmi! Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

My surgery is scheduled for Tuesday. I will go home the same day then return the next day for a swallow study and drain tube removal. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

My sleeve is coming up on Tuesday. My doctor will discharge me the same day as my surgery and I will have a drain but I go to the doctor office the next day and have it taken out. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

Well I was scheduled for surgery today! After checking in and doing everything but being pushed into the OR, my surgery was canceled. I woke up yesterday with poison oak! It was starting to get on my stomach so the doctor just didn't feel comfortable doing it with the risk of infection. He's gone all next week for Christmas so I'm rescheduled for Jan. 3rd. Bummer! Yes, I've been on a liquid diet for 2wks! (Lost 12lbs) The doctor told me I could eat this week then on Monday do my liquid diet again until the 3rd.
