Thanks everyone...The nurse said, as long as it's a "light" color there is no problem[emoji19]. I think I will just soak the shellac off and get a manicure. I don't want any problems! I've come too far.[emoji16]

I'm 11 days into my pre op diet. We have the same meal plan. I've been drinking "premier" protein shakes four times a day and eating my lean protein dinner. I want you to know....the shakes work and if you follow that plan to a tee. You will lose 10-15 pounds before surgery. The pounds fell off of me...so good that it ALMOST seems logical to just follow this diet rather than having surgery. Ummmm, NOT!!There is no way I'm turning back now. I did my final blood draw...and got my surgery I.D. band today....Its really about to happen....loooong process from start to finish...Follow that plan...you will be good!

Its going alright....I'm feeling full with the Premiere Protein shake (strawberry & creme)☆☆Their on sale right now at Sam's Club.com☆☆....I'm allowed one meal in the evening and oh boy! do I look forward to 7pm. I checked the scale and the weight is falling off...Amazing!.... My birthday party was last night...All I had was a half of bottle of champagne... no cupcakes, no birthday cake....As I look at my pictures....I can't wait for my belly to shrink....I'm tired of being fat...Come on March 16th...Im ready!

Luckily, I didn't have to throw out temptations...The premiere protein shakes....almost suppress my hungee...which is awesome!..I went to brunch yesterday with my friends and had a side salad (light dressing) and a fruit cup and my protein shake on ice. I watched them eat..and never felt tempted! Thank you God for my strength & determination!

Thanks for the heads up Ladies...I don't really know what to expect before or after surgery....The restricted dieting is such a mental thing....as long as I stay busy..I don't think of chewing!

My surgery date is March 16th! I'm getting my house in order. I'm trying to make things accessible when I can't reach them. I've been dusting and wiping things down. I purged the refrigerator...I'm getting ready the best of days ahead of me! Is anyone juicing during the liquid diet preop? Do you have any "juicer" recipes that does not include Vitamin K ? (no grean veggies) #committed2ALifestyleChange.

No filter...but, I'm on blood thinners...I've had clots and one broke off and lodged in my heart....I had heart revascularization surgery & that's the only thing that saved me...only steps from a filter. This is my main reason for WLS surgery.

Gorgeous either way...but you definitely can see how much you have lost..Keep up the good work!

To my understanding, Everyone who has weight loss surgery will be put on PPI before & after surgery. However, they are causing severe damage to our kidneys! With knowing this information, Will you still take them? Me: I'm very concerned about taking PPI's....I have refused them so far but, I get my surgery date tomorrow and I know my surgeon will prescribe them to me.....not sure what do ??? I haven't started them but very much interested in them. I see on the homepage of this site...there is a drop down menu...click the word "store" and you will find them under vitamins.

Thank you for this post!..I take a multi vitamins & Vitamin D & Thiamine. My recommended dose for the calls for 4 pills a day. I was only taking one. However, Today, I took 2....so far and I guess 2 with dinner. I try to stick with a "natural" multi vitamin....I use "Nature's Sunshine Super Supplemental "..lots of fruits & veggies in a pill form.
