That's my fear too. I don't like many drinks like crystal light and stuff. I even don't like water. My surgery is Jan 11 so I am going to have to keep trying different beverages. And get use to water.

I am struggling with what to say. My husband knows I'm having surgery and very supportive. But I can't tell anyone else. I tried in the past and just got shot down. No one understands it until they been through it. So my plan was to lie! Yup. I'm telling anyone who asked like work, that I'm having hernia surgery and will need some time off of work. I'm using my PTO and some work at home days. I'm very outgoing and everyone knows my life story. I have family members who would frown upon it so just saying nothing. Your thoughts. Protein shakes
bossportsgal replied to JessecaMartina's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I bought the kit and really like the taste. But for on the go, I use pure Protein. I'll add some PB powder and shake it up. But I'm reading a lot about Premier Protein being good. I'm going to try that Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
Protein shakes

Has anyone tried pure Protein? I like it and easier to find at stores. Which is better pure or premier? I also buy unjury powder and make it in my nutribullet. I love the chicken broth too. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
I haven't had surgery yet but I been drinking Protein shakes for a while. I like canned pure protein for on the go but what is the best is unjury unflavored. You can mix it with anything. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Water, crystal light vs sparkling water
bossportsgal posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I don't like drinking Water nor crystal light stuff. I love fresh ice tea and coffee. I also like sparking water. But I was told I can't drink that anymore. Any tips on how I can get the water down? And does 6 glasses of ice tea count as water. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
Lisa52. I'm with you but hammer down is right. I'm a month away and started smaller portions. Trying hard to increase Water intake since I hate water. It's going to be hard. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

If I have surgery on Wednesday Jan 11, think I can go back to work one week? I work at a desk job with kitchen and it's only 15 mins from home. -
