WHY OH WHY EAT FAST
bossportsgal replied to bossportsgal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thanks all I guess my food addiction is mental and I'm finding it hard to get over. But saying that I am doing better. I get stressed easily and am not mindful. I'm trying hard. -
I was sleeved 1/11 and down 46 but been at a stall for about 4 weeks. Getting nervous.

Easter epic fail...

I had a few of those bad days. Let it go. Get back on track. It's a life change and it's super hard. Having a food addiction and giving that up is hard. It's sooo hard. But I love losing weight and getting compliments and buying new clothes. That helps motivate me. But I'm at a month stall and getting nervous. -
I love popcorn. I had it three months out. I air pop it and have it plain. Small portions to give me a treat. As long as I reached my protein for the day.

Eating fast is just not good at all. I too experienced severe pain for fast. It's a lesson learned. Don't do it again you just need to be focused when eating trust me

Congrats you look fabulous! Your post helped me. I weigh myself every other day and watch it go up and down. Hahha. Time for a new scale. I am struggling with the eating. I'm struggling to get food down and get it down slow. I forget that I have a small tummy. Sometimes eat to fast. I need to be patient and follow the rules. Down 45 lbs - 3 months post op. 30+ to go. -
Big mistake today. I had ONE big fried onion ring and boy am I paying the price. Don't do it. It's unhealthy.

Holy Hair Loss Batman!!

This is what I use for the bald spots. Either caboki, its micro fibers. So natural looking or style edit root concealer spray. Both are good. And increased my fiber and biotin. -
Yes this is normal. Everyone is different. Just follow the instructions of your team and it will fall off. I'm 3 months post op and eating more food now and worried I won't lose anymore weight. But it's still coming off. Good luck.

Yes I do. But I also know that I was given a tool. And i need to use that tool to its fullest and not to damage it. . I will admit it is hard. Becisee now im at the stage where I can eat anything. But here is a good example. I had buttered popcorn and peanuts the other night and it came out the other end. It was not fun. It was reminder that I can't eat like I use too and when I did I got fat. But I heard the sleeve can stretch out over time. Would like to see what other say.

I was using genepro and liked it didn't have a taste. But my NUT said stop!!! That it's impossible to have 30g of protein in one tablespoon. She strongly advised me to switch back to unjury unflavored. I like it I guess. I also like unjury chocolate. Pure protein is good too. I like switching it around Thanks Nancy

Protien shake replacements

I love the power crunch protein bars. Taste like cookies. I also switch up my meals to not have the same thing over and over. You need to shock metabolism. I think. I switch up protein like adding eggs, fish, etc. Thanks Nancy -
Is this because I'm still eating fast? It's sooo hard to make my meals last 1/2 hour. Arggg. So then I get the hiccups and I know I have eaten or drank too fast. Arggg. Thanks Nancy
-
I'm in New Orleans right now. On Frenchmen st next to all the bars. I want a gosh darn drink!!!!! Any suggestions? Just one!! Thanks Nancy
-
Tip: I was using this until I read on this site that NUTs don't advise it. That it's not possible to have 30g of protein in 1 tbl as they suggest. I spoke to my nutritionist and she said same thing to stay away. Thanks Nancy

When does the weight start coming off fast
bossportsgal replied to ayanna_vsg's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I know how you feel. Believe me it will start coming off. It took about 2 months before people really started to notice and I was getting mad. But today, 3 months post, down 40lbs down and feeling great! I'm actually at a stall and starting to get discouraged again but thank god for this blog! Good luck and just follow your NUTs plan and you will sicken remember too, your tummy had major surgery. So you need to heal. The phase your in for a bit is healing. Thanks Nancy -
Me too! I'm so nervous that I'll stretch out my new stomach. I'm not losing weight 3 months post. Is that normal? Thanks Nancy

3 months post op.
bossportsgal replied to hdsjourney's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am feeling the same as you. I'm at a stall. I am following my NUT plan to the T. But I realized that earlier on I was losing weight daily because I was eating a lot less and healing my tummy. Now that I'm on a regular diet, I'm not losing weight. I track everything in myfitnesspal and my NUT is my friend on it too. That helps track what I eat. I'm so worried too about stretching it. Thanks Nancy -
2 Weeks Post Op - Depressed and Hungry!
bossportsgal replied to NancyNYC's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I know exactly how you feel. Trust me it will pass. I am three months post op and sooo glad I did this. I realized I was revolving my life around food. Now I don't. I am listening to my NUT and doing exactly what I'm suppose too. Like what folks said, your going through a healing process, you just had major surgery. Take care of your belly first. It is a tough time but it's only a short time. Once your weight starts dropping you will feel better. Keep up the protein and water and you will see amazing results. Good luck. Thanks Nancy -
Protein intake, struggling
bossportsgal replied to vsgbeauty13's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I just spoke with my NUT and she said the following about Genepro "We do not recommend Genepro. It's not possible to have 30g of protein in 1T of protein powder. They have been sued for false advertising" Thanks Nancy -
Why oh why do I keep doing this. I just made home made pizza and ate it fast. Now I feel like I'm having a heart attack. The heart burn is so painful. I know it will subside but I must NEVER do that again. I have done it before and cried. But yet here I am again. Suck the lesson Learned. MIND OVER MATTER. I need to stop bringing back the old habits. Arggg Thanks Nancy
-
When does this stop. I'm eight weeks out and still get hungry. But so get full fast. Yesterday I had 3 Mcdonald chicken nuggets and today feel like sh^*. Could it be just the old habits sneaking back? Argg. Down 30 lbs. Thanks Nancy
