Hi MLT I know what you mean about bread. I had to go to bed lol as suddenly had the urge for a slice of toast. Was even imagining just having a nibble of the corner of a slice. It is hard. I have tried the slimfast in the past but that was with a low carb meal in evening and that was hard. I think this helps me when I want to cave...when I was at my pre op assessment,I was talking to a lady who had a bypass a year before and she was saying that when she had her surgery another lady in her ward woke up from surgery and they didnt do the procedure coz her liver hadnt shrunk enough and she confessed that she hadnt stuck to it. That scared me shitless lol. Mandi xx

Its all I think about at the moment. Am so glad that I am having it done. Hope I am still saying that during the recovery stage lol. Well I am going to bed now and yes the cake is still untouched!! Yayyyy!! Roll on day 4. Let me know how you get on tomorrow xx Mandi xx

I feel soooo great when the day is over and been good. Although I have been going to bed incredibly early to stop the wanting. Lol. We need to just keep imagining the end result and remembering why we are doing this. We will do this xx Mandi xx

Thats such a tough situation. I would cave too. So far so good but getting snappy especially with my hubby. Argued earlier so usually I head straight to kitchen to comfort myself but am now sitting here with a black coffee...not quite as good as food but not letting him make me fail even though it was my daughters 22nd bday today and got her huge chocolate cake which we had to have fri as my last treat. So had to make her take the remainder to her boyfriends parents to get it out of harms way but cut off a slab for her to have here and its starting to call me... F OFF CAKE!!! LOL Mandi xx

I can't wait to not feel so uncomfortable and too hot covering up everything. Hopefully when I lose the weight it comes off in all right places and those places look fine out in the sun lol (arms and legs mainly) Mandi xx

Hi all. I am starting day 3 of liquid diet. Surgery on 3rd Feb. Having the sleeve. So far doing well and managing it. Daily menu consists of 4 weightwatcher soups, 4 mullerlight yogurts and pint of milk and tea, coffee, Water or sugar free squash. Only hard bit is having to cook meals for family but so far not been tempted. Think its because looking forward to end result. Thinking how different things will be once i have surgery (all i seem to think about atm) lol. But what made me smile the most is ACTUALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SUMMER FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! I was quite nervous during my consultation at first but he totally put me at ease with his manner and professionalism. It was nice to talk to someone who actually understood why i was there and that i had actually tried every diet going in the past with little or no success. I am getting more excited,anxious about the surgery now. Am always thinking about it now and i know its going to be hard but am looking forward to making the most of this chance to better my health and actually start living instead of hiding away whilst hopefully looking good.
