Being able to be more active with my little ones cute clothes.. not being so paranoid everyone is just seeing my size progress starts in the mind -
I was promised a team of people to assist me every step of the way with my surgery but with everything coming to a close (insurance approval pending ) it seems I'm having to make phone calls and do certain things I shouldn't have too...like for instance lack of communication it's so hard to just call and get and answer about most anything...I'm getting my surgery clearance letter from the dr tomorrow..surgical office said that's all I need ...pcp says they need some kind of orders for tests....surgery office said they don't need tests done....I finally had to just call and have my surgery office call my pcp...I had to ask them to as to get this matter straightend out..then I'm told we faxed an order... grr... progress starts in the mind

I love my fitbit! It's like a healthy constant reminder to get up and move alot of my coworkers have it so we often use the challenges to keep each other on our toes and I like I can keep up with my meals on the same app! You can sink it see your phone caller ID and I bought my first 1 at Walmart 120 and the other 2 at a pawn shop (around 60 both times) there great I love them! You can buy little covers on amazon too to personalize...I am super hard on stuff I lost the diamond out of my wedding band the first week I had it thank God for insurance (only reason I am on the 3rd lol progress starts in the mind

...so I am doing the 3 month followed diet after some issues with the primary physician I had (he got angry with me when I told him I wanted the sleeve) I found a weight loss clinic and decided to try out adipex I could see where this would help weight loss but I see alot of people on that yoyo when they stop taking it and I don't want that. So I continued on got a new pcp who is totally on board with the surgery but did however tell me to continue with that clinic for my 3months diet he said he will sign all my approval papers soon as I need them. Although I'm a little concerned he said I could lose all the weight I want and still get the surgery but when I did my nutrition consult and phsychatric clearance they told me they didn't think so...but I did stop the adipex and stop the gym I was an avid goer despite appearance I have lost weight but my bmi went to 46...I guess I'm losing muscle because the dr told me no weights. Any way I'm 27 always been a big girl but always told I carry it well. My highest weight259 I think I'm like 251 now. So I have done everything the surgeon told me to do and just waiting to finish my supervised diet on Dec 28 ...I'm so anxious and excited and nervous to do this. Hope to relieve my new life tool in January! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App

I do too.... and knowing I'm just waiting now I'm anxious and excited but I'm finding this site more and more helpful! I'm so close to that last supervised diet day ... but also the surgeon didn't tell me I have to lose weight before surgery so I'm going back and forth should I be trying super hard or just ride it out and not stress too much at this time. Any thoughts? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using the BariatricPal App

Just stop talking to them about it! Alot of my family and friends say the same things but I totally agree with you in want to LIVE and be happy...I do not have all the medical problems but I'm over 100 over weight..I don't want to wake up one day to find out I have these problems my husband is ok with it although my anxiety of waiting to get my date I'm getting on his nerves and my dad had gastric bypass 10 years ago so he said go for it because his only regret it not doing it sooner (younger) I've always been big...I've dieter went to the gym ...I've like to work out makes me feel good I just can't get the wait off for a million reasons...be proud be excited don't let them ruin it!
