Yes, thinner me has more wrinkles than plumper me! It's the only upside to being overweight-fewer wrinkles! I hope the bio oil helped! I mat try it too!

I had my surgery November 28, 2016. It's interesting that you mention the nightmares because I had them, too. Only mine were after surgery for the first few weeks. Maybe it was the anesthesia or just the small amount of pain, since I didn't take any pain meds? Also my surgery was complicated by a failed gastric plication that caused a blockage and caused a lot of tissue death. In any case, they stopped and I'm doing great! I hope everyone who experienced them got past them and you're all doing well!

Anyone have Lap band & plication revised to Gastric bypass
seasidegirl replied to Muñekita's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I had a plication revised to RNY on 11/28. Apparently the plication was a mess-totally distorted, bulging and blockages, hernia, ulcers, plus esophageal erosions. Dead tissue was pretty ugly and he had to remove part of stomach. So glad I had all that fixed. I'm only five days out but the pain is not bad. I've been taking liquid Tylenol twice a day. Today I took it only once. Only problem is diarrhea last two days. I think from drinking too large a quantity at once. I'm tired of sips and it's hard to swallow pills with small sips. I started Protein drinks today, in addition to Clear liquids. I've cut way down on medications-yay! Good luck with your recovery! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

Just got revision from sleeve to bypass!
seasidegirl replied to StartingOverAfterCancer2's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
Hi. I actually had a revision from Gastric Plication (2014) to RNY on Nov 28. I'm five days out. The plication had caused a lot of problems. It went horribly wrong. Caused a bulging and a blockage. A lot of tissue died. I also had severe reflux that caused erosions, ulcers and increased my risk for esophageal cancer. There was also a hernia. I'm so glad I had this revision and I regret being foolish enough to have had the plication. The pain from the RNY is not as bad and the nausea is WAY better than the first surgery. As far as weight, all I know at this poinis that I lost 4.4 lbs from after RNY day of surgery to next day. I'm still on Clear liquids, but added Protein drinks today. I'm sure I've lost more weight, but not going to check until post-op class on Tuesday. Have had diarrhea since yesterday and took an Imodium a while ago which doesn't seem to have helped yet! It's hard figuring out how much I can drink and how long I have to wait in-between. Just trying to sip every few minutes now. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App -
Getting crushed meds down
seasidegirl replied to LaLa Weez's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi. I had RNY on Nov 28. I'm also having some trouble getting pills down. I need more than a sip to swallow a pill and when swallow too much Water I get terrible diarrhea. In fact it hasn't stopped since yesterday so I just took an Imodium so I won't get too dehydrated. It's a rediculously small amount of liquid that's too much, but I know this is part of it and I just need to be careful and remember they say that the pouch can start out with only 2-4 tablespoons capacity. My lips are getting chapped. Still I can't wait until I can drink instead of sip! Can some tell me how to post my own message rather than just reply? Thanks! Good luck everyone! My date was November 28. We are talking 2016, right? I saw some from 2014 and wondered if this is current? Also, I don't see how to do my own post. Can anyone help with that? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
