I'm only one week post op but what I have to say doesn't matter if I was pre or post because the ONLY thing that matters is YOUR decision to do what you feel is best for you! I get it...I had a similar experience. Went to a local facility and they were so negative to me about my decision because my BMI was lower with one comorbidity. I decided I would never return to them and did some research that led me to a facility 2 1/2-3hours away where I had my surgery. No regrets as the staff and Doctor has been wonderful! So Congrats for you taking control of your life!!! In my moms voice...if people don't shape up they need to ship out!
