I'm 4 months out and I still have issues. Was told to take pears instead of apples. Pears work awesome have to have one everyday. I take restoralax every other day, similar to miralax.

I'm still struggling with that. I'm 8 weeks today and I hate cooking but have no choice. I work from home and find it hard to get off the phone some days. I do try hard to keep some food that I can eat regularly available. Good thing I don't eat lots so when I cook something it lasts for days and days lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Interesting I thought It was just me. I think my Vitamins and adding Vitamin from Protein is not helping my doctor says I have Chronic hives. Really??? Claritin and hydrocortisone cream 1% helps. Seems to come and go. I only use Premier Protein and a whey Protein Powder for mixing in stuff. Is your rash like hives? So itchy.. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

I've been asked to stop drinking Protein shakes or using powder. Get protein from food. It's hard for sure. Most days I still need to top up with a shake. Cottage cheese has 16 grams for 1/2 cup (1%) Greek light and fit yogurt is 12 grams . Lentils have lots of protein. Ground turkey ( Chili with black beans) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

HELP! Freaking out - need honest feedback
smyleetn replied to minervaxx6's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was in the hospital less then 24 hours. It was super hard for me coming out of the anaesthetic. I did have pain but pain meds worked. I had gas pain the first few hours on my chest then never had anymore. I was swallowing pills within hours and drinking Water. It hurt a bit in my stomach in the beginning but learnt soon that my sips were not small enough. No nausea, throwing up or dumping. Feel pretty lucky. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
