    Freakin NSV!

That is wonderful. My gastric surgery was on 11/9/2016 and I was a size 22, Here it is Feb. and I am in a size 12. I also was never in my life a size 12. Isn't it a wonderful feeling. Someone actually called me skinny. I had to hug them. I was never ever skinny. It is unbelievable how much this surgery can change lives.

Yes That happens to be. food I loved before the surgery either tastes horrible or makes me vomit.
  3. I had my gastric Bypass Surgery on 11/6/16 and have lost 52 pounds. Comes out both ends. And get the chills really bad. I am only having a Protein shake for Breakfast lunch consists of 1 thin sliced turkey breast - low solium with 1 thin sliced lowfat swiss cheese afternoon snack - 1 slice of low-fat sharp cheese and 5 cashews or almonds dinner: 1 oz of kidney, lima Beans, - can not eat shrimp, lobster, chicken, lean goundbeef at night 1 sugar free icepop

    Sleeve vs. other surgeries

This is your decision. I was just like you, I was of the mind set of having the sleeve. I was 232 5'4, until the day before I saw the surgeon. My daughter had a friend that had the bypass she came over and asked me a few questions that changed my mind. 1) do you want to be off your diabetic meds immediately? my answer was yes 2) Do you want to lose the most weight? My answer was yes 3) there is a long history with the pass and not so long with the sleeve, which would you rather do? It truly made me thing and I decided if I was going to lose this weight I was going for the gold. My surgery was on 11/9/16. It has not been a walk in the park but I am down 53 pounds. Off my med immediately, my joints do not hurt when I get up. I still am not hungry and only eat 1 or 2 forkfuls of protein times a day. This has to be your decision and no one else. You are the one that has to do it. Good luck hope my reply helps.

    Lettuce and raw vegtables

Maybe the sleeve is different that gastric bypass, but my surgery was 11/9/16 and I still cannot tolerate food in general. I eat 1 oz. of cheese, done, 1 forkful o turkey chili done, 3 spoonful's of Soup done. I do not understand why after all these weeks I still can not tolerate food. Do not get me wrong, I am 52 pounds down since Nov. 9th, but really can not eat much. Protein shakes keep me going.
  15. my arms are also an issue. I am 52 pounds down with 40 to go. I hope the remaining weight comes off the belly and the arms. lol
  16. I agree, legs are like tooth picks and my daughter says omg you have no bust, but oh my belly is still there.

I sound like I have a cold, due to the fact that my throat is so sore from throwing up. I eat 1 teaspoon of PB2 with Water to make it creamy with 2 slices of an apple and 10 minutes later I am throwing up. Basically the only thing that stays down are the Protein shakes, 1 slice of cheese and at times almonds, How about you?
