I am just starting the process with the bariatric clinic at the Richmond centre. I'm wondering if there's anyone in Calgary looking for a buddy. I'd like to meet up with someone just to talk about the process and share the experience with someone who can relate. It would be nice to form some sort of friendship and have someone to talk with about issues that may arise in the coming months.
Just a bit about me, I'm 25 years old. I've been overweight/obese my entire life. My earliest memories begin at the age of 3, being teased by other kids who were normal weight. I also think I have a food addiction.
