I had a friend who had the lap band and had to have it removed due to complications. My brother got the sleeve 2 years ago and it's changed his life. He lost a lot of weight and is off insulin. I get sleeved tomorrow morning :-) Sent from my 710C using the BariatricPal App

Good luck :-) Just do your best. I am on a two week of 80-100 grams of Protein drinks and 800-1000 calories per day. You can have limited amounts of sugar free hello, sugar free popsicles, and broth. I'm on my last two days of it and surgery Monday morning. I did great the first five days and then cheated a little and back on now. It's not easy:( Sent from my 710C using the BariatricPal App

Sorry no experience in that procedure. I'm having WLS on Monday and I'll pray for a GREAT outcome and speedy recovery. Did you have to pay for this or did insurance cover it? Just thinking ahead.
