ME 3!!!! Im all over the place and the liquid diet has me all kinds of emotional and Hangry (hungry and angry) but tomorrow i think will be fine.

Okay I surely will not complain anymore!

I am in NC. The Dr. said to call them for an estimate but I didnt get a call back and to be honest it slipped my mind. Then after I paid the Dr. she said to call and tell her how much I paid and I would get my amount from them. I dont know anything about out of pocket expenses only my deductable and that has been met. I'm trying not to stress right now.

I told my very close coworkers (because I need their support the last two weeks of school I'm on the liquid diet now) and I told my principal because I trust her. They are all excited for me and proud that I am following through with a healthier lifestyle. I had one coworker who didn't seem as happy for me but she is still supportive and wants 1st dibs on my clothes when I can no longer fit them. Tell who you want when you are ready and when you want to. I haven't told all of my family just the ones who will be here helping me post Op. I just know I am going to be a big baby, my little cousin is in nursing school and Thank God because if I have the blood thinner shots she is gonna have to be the one to give them to me! I haven't told anyone who I don't feel can hold Water. I decided to wait until school intercession to have the surgery so that hopefully I can return to work with everyone as normal and just sip Protein drinks like now for a week or two and then go back to eating small portions. Now when the weight starts dropping.....I will credit it to changing how I eat and exercising...that's what they have seen and that is all they need to know!

I have to pay half of out of pocket at pretesting plus hospital copay. The numbers shocked me but I am cutting costs EVERYWHERE to make it possible. No turning back now!

I have BCBS NC, and I paid my doctor $1500 on Monday and Tuesday the pretest facility told me I have to pay half ($1678) on my pre-test day. I am trying my best not to stress, but I do not want to come this far to get turned back. Nor do I want to raise my blood pressure stressing.

Oh wow. My next appointment is on 12/14 and I also have my PreOp for the hospital that day as well. I havent had weight loss requirements set but I have been incorporating a Protein shake at Breakfast and 2 high protein meals. I am trying to eliminate snacking and the drinking after I eat I tend to get dry mouth while eating but they say i need to chew longer to build more saliva.... its hard work but I know in the end it will be worth it!
