Well I have never cooked so much food and eaten so little. I cannot wait to be able to eat at least 6oz, currently I am still only able to eat 3oz tops. No beer, no wine not even a cider has passed my lips, it's been the dryest in years except when I was pulled to do stag duty all those years ago. Happy Christmas everyone. Morning everyone, Last evening I had the results of the gastroscopy that I had yesterday, well I am suffering from gastritis (swelling of the stomach lining) and I have a sliding hiatus hernia. So now we know what is causing me to have nausea all the time when I try anything more than liquid's. Ok so now they have increased my anti-acids to combat the swelling, the hernia they will leave to see if it settles down once the acid in the stomach is reduced. I suffered the same, if you cannot keep anything down you must contact your doctor or go to the ER, dehydration is dangerous. They gave me three types of antisickness to stop me vomiting, they also gave me a gastroscopy last evening which confirmed that I had swelling of the stomach lining caused by acid(gastritis) and a hiatus hernia. The swelling of the stomach lining also causes nausea and vomiting, so now I pray I can move forward and start to enjoy my new me. Good luck and please call your doctor. Have a chat with your surgeon as it could be stenosis, this can start to happen as you progress from mushy foods to small solids. Unfortunately I am speaking from experience I had mine on November 7th and have been put back onto liquid's, tomorrow I am having a camera put down for a look see. Best of luck.
