    My thoughts are it is temporary. It is doable and necessary. I am scheduled Wednesday, April 19, and am surviving the preop diet. I chew sugar free gum to help. I also make sure to take deep breaths and breath when I find myself wanting to eat out of boredom. Temporary!!! Best of luck!
