I found a trader joe's! Theres actually a bunch in Mass! Theres one in the cape, one way out in western MA, and then a bunch near Boston, the closest one is in Hanover (I know only people from New England are probably getting these references) which is about an hour from my house, maybe if I need to go up to Boston sometime I'll check it out.

I've heard the ones at "Trader Joe's" were good, I had never heard of that place before though, I hope they have some around here. New England gets excluded from every chain! Oh man there are 1000s of really pissed off people that really really want to eat at a Cici's pizza or a Jack in the Box or a Sonic, they play the commercials on all the channels!!! But alas, there are none for hundreds and hundreds of miles, my friends and I keep checking their websites lol :rolleyes2:

Oh man thats a lot on your plate I hope everything goes well! I'm sure the baby will be healthy :biggrin2: School ends for me on the 5th and we have finals until the 15th, its usually the same at other schools too, so good luck with everything!

Haha yeah someone already mentioned this but there was a great poll about this a couple weeks back, tons of hilarious stories about people putting weights in their pockets and all sorts of stuff lol. I was worried about my bmi being over 40. My height always comes in differently (I think I hunch on accident) at either 5'1 or 5'2, and my weight is always fluctuating from 220 -229 (eh) I ate like, a half gallon tub of fruit loops and milk in the car on my way to the appointment and measured 5'2 - 223. I think its worth gaining a few if it means loosing a ton in the long run if everything goes as planned. Good luck!!!

Hehe alright thats only when its dark out and I'm being sneaky :biggrin: My favorite bathing suit ever I got at Target, its by Merona and is a long length, shirred tankini, Mine is this beautiful turquoise color but I think this season they only have brown and black? I plan on ordering the black, I tried last year but they were sold out.

I'm sure you'll be able to, they usually have each constestants performance every week which is where I watch if I have to work or something.

Ugh I hated that test. They sent it in the mail and I took it a week or 2 ago. I wasn't really thinking that they were trying to trick me, so I probably did bad answering, I varied on the questions about "bending the law," hahahaha, it was like, You should ALWAYS follow every law about everything regarless of anything, and I answered no, but on the questions that said "I love breaking the law," I also said no, ugh. My appointment is Friday, so hopefully everything goes well :biggrin:

Jessica I am scared too! I don't think I'm that scared about the surgery part, I've never had it before but my little sister has been under anesthesia before a bunch of times and has been fine. I'm not even that worried about the eating. When my friends and I go out to eat, a lot of my friends just get soup and split a side of fries or something (they are all skinny) I've already told a few people, some with good feedback, some with horribly negative feedback. I'm mostly afraid that people are going to think poorly of me, and that I am a "cheater." I know if I get thin they will all be like, "well she cheated so it doesn't count." That is just how catty girls 17-21 can be (most of my friends fall into this age range) I'm also scared of what the guy I date will think, he turned the idea down and called me selfish for it when I brought it up back in September. I'd like to keep it hush hush, but I can't lie either. I'm hoping my supportive friends (so far I have about 2...) can help me deal with the other, not so supportive friends... thats what I'm really scared of.

Yeah I knnow what you mean, in high school I was always really active, I played softball and I did competitive dance my whole life, practicing 4 nights a week. By the time I was in 5th grade I was a full c, was a DD by 9th, and by senior year a G or DDD, where I am now, but I've always had big boobs, even when I was playing sports and such. Since I've stopped dance (it only goes up to grade 12) I haven't gained AS much as I would have thought, maybe 20 pounds since senior year, although thats only 2 1/2 years ago... but my point is that yes, I don't know what its like to be thin either, at least not that I can remember, but I sure would like to find out :thumbup:

I've never heard of this store before, I figured it was like a GNC type store, I didn't know it was a supermarket, apparently they are mostly west coast based and don't have any stores over here in New England :huh2: I was really interested! I've never tried a protein shake I liked :thumbs_down: although I've only tried a few.

Yeah, I was thin thin thin until, er, age 6? Probably like, 2nd grade, hahaha. I'm not sure what happened, probably the early onset of purberty since I started maturing really young, but by 3rd grade I was really chubbed out and started slim fast and weight watchers, I never really lost much weight though. I thinned out slightly in 5th grade at age 10, when I grew a couple inches, I was about 4'11 or 5'0 and 117 lbs, but ever since then I've been putting on more and more weight every year. I've lost 20 pounds here and there on weight watchers and atkins and such, but never could get to a normal weight. Every year I gain more and more, about 15 pounds in the last year or so. I finally decided to do something more drastic, hopefully I can still have a chance at a better life while I still have the chance.

Hey! I live in Attleboro, MA, so I can get to Pawtucket, RI in maybe 3 minutes lol, so I spent most of my time in Providence or Pawtucket. My dad works in Pawtucket but our insurance is BCBS MA. Its funny how Rhode-Islandy people from Attleboro are. I went to Boston for the first time this past Halloween lol, I know, kinda sad lol. In college (I go to Bridgewater State in MA,) everyone is all about "south shore!" and such, and I haven't even heard of most of the towns they all live in lol.

Hi there!!! I haven't been banded yet, but I am currently going through all the pre-op stuff with the Glasgows. I went to a seminar way back in September but didn't have my first consultation with Dr. Adam Glasgow until the end of March. Just curious, who was the surgeon you looked into before? You don't need to say if you don't feel comfortable, but I was looking into a different program that simply had more experience that the Glasgows after I went to their seminar (the Glasgows have done about 100 Lap-bands, the other place in Boston has done 1000) however the office staff at the other place was a little rude and off-putting, they acted as if I had no idea what I was getting myself into and made me feel really stupid, the surgeon was unreachable, there were a lot of fees and charges and meetings, and in the end I decided to go with a more personable, accessable team like the Glasgows. I also have BCBS, I have not been approved for surgery or anything yet, at least I don't think so, but BCBS has been covering all of my appointments except for the psych eval.
