    Anyone from Georgia ??

I go to Fill USA. They come to an office in Roswell 2 times a month and have been very good. If you haven't chosen a doctor yet I highly recommend Time 4 Change website and Dr. Zappata. he was great. Good Luck : ) I pay $ 120.00 to fill USA and then they use a fluroscopy machine to see the fill and I pay $160 to them.
  3. anybody out there diabetic and taking pills and insulin? How's the weight loss? I work out 3 x a week with weights and machines plus 32 min. on the treadmill but weightloss is very slow. I am getting frustrated, Banded 4/08 and have lost 55 lbs but have a lot to go : (

    Hi from Atlanta, GA.

I did it in Mexico with Dr. Zappata. It was wonderful. It cost $7000 not counting the flight. I have lost 51lbs. so far. It is a constantly learning experience. What works one day does not work the next day. I do recommend it.I am not sorry I did it for a minute. It is a journey and I still have a ways to go.
  5. they also have an office in Roswell GA. It is so much closer than Moultrie.
  6. wow! I was banded 4/7/08. I have had two fills. My last one was the end of July. I cannot eat any beef at all. It won't stay down. I can't seem to eat pork or bacon either. Chicken and fish is my mainstay. If I can keep food down for 3 or 4 days, then I can't keep anything but protein shakes or soup down for the next 3 days. I have lost 51 lbs. I work out with a personal trainer 2 x's a week and on my own 3 including cardio. I am amazed how so many others can eat most foods. Can't eat pizza, pasta or rice either. Am I doing something wrong?
  7. I really like Champion Whey protein low sugar in chocolate. I mix it with water and some coffee every morning for breakfast. If I can't seem to keep my food down, I make a shake using this, some skim milk and no sugar added Eddy's slow churned mint choc. chip icecream. It tastes good and is satisfying.

    fill md in atlanta ,georgia?

I have been to fill center in Roswell 2 times and have been over filled. I have been throwing up for two weeks and will probably need an unfill again. This should not happen as I am paying for the fleuroscopy too. I am very disappointed! This is exactly what happened after my first fill. Shouldn't they know from the first time not to put as much in the second time?

    Fill Doctors in Georgia

I just called Dr. William Johnson at Johns Creek and they said they WILL NOT take on any patients who was banded in Mexico. I am so disappointed. Anyone know of another doctor around Atlanta who will take on people banded in MEXICO. I WOULD REALLY PREFER A DOCTOR AT THIS POINT.
  10. I just had my second fill with fill center in Georgia. They used the fleuroscopy and I believe I have been over filled again. I have been vomiting and sliming anytime I have anything beyond a protein shake or broth. Now they want to charge me again for fleuroscopy and an unfill. This is a week and two days since my fill. Is this normal? Does anyone know where I can go for a fill with a doctor instead of fill center usa? I am not happy how expensive this is getting. $165 for a fill or unfill and $120 for the fleuroscopy each time. Having to do it twice each time I have a fill is ridiculous not counting how bad the vomiting is to my stomach.
  11. This is such a lot of crap. I guess that is how they justify why they won't cover any weight loss surgery. I had to self pay and went to Monterrey, Mexico. Thank you Dr. Zappata for making it available at a price I could afford. 35 pounds lost since surgery 4/7/2008

    Anyone pay out of pocket?

Go to Ready4AChange web site. The surgery is $7,000 dollars done in Monterrey Mexico

Gonna break down and get an UNfill...

I have been going through the same thing. I had the fill 2 weeks ago. The first week seemed fine but the second week has been awful. I can't even drink much. I am not getting enough protein. I have pbing whenever I eat soup or even my protein drink. I am scheduled for an unfill this Saturday and am looking forward to being able to eat any kind of solid at all. I hope I am doing the right thing. I want to continue to lose but don't want to be miserable.
  14. I was banded 4/07 and had my first fill on 5/17. I am more restricted this week than last week. I can't have any solids and I am even having trouble with liquids. I think I may need an unfill. They filled 2.2ccs. Anybody know if this is too much? I don't feel too well. Never hungry and getting my medication in is a real problem. It takes over an hour to drink a protein shake.
