Hi, I was banded on 3-07-2008 and to date I have lost 82 pounds. I am hoping to reach my 100 pound mark by 1-1-09. We will see how that goes. I have done well with my band even had to have a hysterectomy in august of this year. Things went very well. I would recommend this procedure to anyone who has battled their weight.

My dietitian discussed this with me at my pre-op diet consult. She said to drink 1/2 cup of hot water 30 minutes before your meal. This will allow the mucous to thin and pass throught. Hope this helps.
