I met Dr Wagner after exploring and researching online for several months.  He was kind, professional and very detailed.  I felt immediately comfortable with him.
 
I started the search for WLS after my cardiologist gave me stern warnings about the need to lose weight.  I had been trying every known diet and program for more that 20 years without any sustained success.  I felt ill all the time, was on so many medications, that I swore they were the cause of my poor feelings. I was in constant pain from arthritis, was getting repeated steriod injections to give me enough pain relief to walk.
 
I was at a place where I was just ready to do better, to feel better, to get off all those meds and be able to get around with little to no problem.
 
I chose Hearts of America after working with several other agencies and so far so good.
 
I'm @ 5- 6 weeks post op and just need to connect to others.  I found BariatricPal a few weeks ago, but wasn't read to talk to others.  Now I need to talk.
