Im so sick of being obese. I just want to get the surgery over with. I feel frustrated with my body. But i know i have a long road ahead of me before I can say that im going under the knife. What do you think peepz? How did you get through this period of frustration and depressing moments? Thanks a sad member Sent from my SM-G928F using the BariatricPal App

Hi peepz So today my father is going to know about my surgery. I want to tell him because i want support from my parents because they mean so much to me But im afraid that he is going to he totally against it because he worries about me. How can i convince him that being fat is life threathing and eating me alive. Litteraly. He will typically say that i just need to excercise and eat healthy. Or just go away from food at all. He really doesn't know my struggle. Actually i dont have a very good relationship with him. But some how his approval makes me more confident in my surgery Dont know what to say at this point. Im 100% sure i want this surgery baby! Thanks for reading my rant again haha i just love the fact that i can dump my feelings on here becausr im alone in this. I have no support whatsoever. Hi everybody I'm new here. Just made a account on here Because I'm thinking to do the surgery myself. And it's terrifying yet excitment at the same time. Maybe this is the hundred time someone asked this question. But does waking up after surgery hurt and what was the pain level?? Sorry for my English. It's my third language. Thank you very much Sent from my SM-G928F using the BariatricPal App

Leakage is quickly caught after surgery. They will test your stomach with a blue Fluid to see if there are any problems. If there is a leakage they can fix that possibly without going under the knife again But overall they will make sure there is no leakage. They tend to happen right at the beginning of the surgery than you are still in the hospital. But i wont worry to much because they have better equipment and better skills now. You can do it if you really set your mind to it After the surgery Im sorry to say this but you want get drink all of those delicous shakes what you are getting now. So you might as well enjoy them while it last. You are going to a transition that will alter your whole entire life. And your pre op diet is nothing compared to what is coming. I dont want to scare you. But the food you will be eating after surgery is nothing but sips. So i just want to let you know. This is real and hard work. Dont expect it to be easy because it aint. You signed up for this so you better make it worth while. And if you dont have the will you better need to have it because this is how your life is going to be for a very long time. My Father is against surgery
Siyaa Ela replied to Siyaa Ela's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Yes my dad to. My mom actually is going to tell him. I know that's sounds weird. But she is the only one who can maybe talk some sense in him Weird. But unfortunatly my dad is a piece of work himself. Communication is his weakest power. I think you are doing the right thing here. If I could I would do the same but i still live with my parents so he is going to know about it. Good luck to you to and sorry for your loss. Sent from my SM-G928F using the BariatricPal App -

Hi thanks for your message. Im not able right now to message you back. Have some issues with my message box. I want to let you know that Im just starting in the process so i dont know if I'm much of a help to you. So yeah.Just wanted to let you know where I stand in this journey Sent from my SM-G928F using the BariatricPal App -
Try to rationalize your fears and read more positive succes stories. And trust that you are in good hands. The dr and nurses are going to keep a very very close eye on you during the whole process. So there is likely no chance that you won't be able to wake up. They will make sure you are up on your feet ASAP! Sent from my SM-G928F using the BariatricPal App

I have visions of myself going in and out of the ER. Seeing myself suffer and almost die. But I know this is my anxiety. Your mind sometimes plays tricks on you. Not everything you think or feel is true. Is it scary. Sure it is. But a lot of people did this and they are up and fine. So yeah. If you really have bad anxiety i suggest to talk to your caregiver. My Father is against surgery
Siyaa Ela replied to Siyaa Ela's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Thanks everyone for your replies. I made up my mind about my path. And even though my dad is a big naysayer im not going to listen to him. Im 26 years old going in 27 in january. The last thing i need is approval from my dad. But knowing that he kinda supports me makes this ride less uncomfortable. But i know that i cant make everybody happy I can only make myself happy. So yeah thanks for your replies and suggestions. Makes it alot easier to deal with this. But im pretty sure he is going to be totally against it but i wont let him come in front my goal. See ya guys later❤❤???????????? Sent from my SM-G928F using the BariatricPal App -
