How does one get past the fear of having ANY bypass surgery?

There is a risk with everything you do. You have to look at what the risks are and weigh them against what the outcomes could be. It was hard for me as I took care of bariatric surgery patients and we had some not so good outcomes. Make sure you research your doctor and the program for outcomes, ask questions. Good luck Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app -

I found adding 25 grams of fiber a day takes care of that. Costco sells Fiberone gummie, I have to have it daily, the 10 gummies only have 50 calories too. I started taking it nightly since about 4 months post op as constipation was the worst side effect. Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app

Hi, I am in Fairfield, and my surgery is at UCSF. -
Hi, I am looking for a buddy. I have surgery on Friday and even though my husband is great support I want to connect with someone else who can relate better. I have experience taking care of patients post op Bariatric surgery, but I want someone who I can talk to as the patient. Thank you in advance for anyone who is interested. Beverly

He might be doing it that way to save you money as well. Since part of it is covered by your insurance.
