It's very hard to get in all that they are requiring...blah blah blah

Surgery was yesterday and at first it was a bit painful due to the gas..slept most of the day off and on...by 5:00pm I walked twice around the hospital floor...this morning I'm good just sore, hard to get in and out of bed...just got my first puree breakfast.. Nurse said to chew 25 times and only a bit every 5 minutes..that's hard bc it's already pureed...

@ my surgery was December 21st as well..I'm super sore, it's hard getting up and down.. Don't know how I'm going to get in all my protein and water..hurts to take in deep breaths...I'm just taking it easy these first couple of days...don't feel like eating... Praying for a way to do all this!

@@Wonder WomanNJ Got sleeved yesterday as well..I feel the same way..the gas pains were bad, but feeling good now..good luck to us on a awesome recovery..

Add the powered peanut butter, it helps

My surgery is tomorrow...can't sleep...praying all goes well...hope you have a speedy recovery...

I'll be 4 days post op on Christmas day and I pray I'm 90% back to normal...

Tomorrow is my day, already freakin out...lol but just remember it will go quicker than you think then you'll be ready to start this new life journey...

You'll do great...my surgery is Wednesday and I'm already feeling like a need a nerve pill...lol, can't amagion what I'll be like tomorrow night and Wednesday morning...

@@OneReallyBigBird thanks for the advice, I'll definitely follow the directions bc I'm to scared not to...lol I'm just ready for it to be over so I can relax and not have to over think the recovery... I'll be posting the day of surgery bc I know I'll be waiting forever to go back...

@@hayleyf3706 I have the bariatic advantage that I had to buy from my doctor, I'm allowed to add the powered peanut butter and skim milk, as long as it's cold and I drink it fast its barable...

Having surgery on Wednesday, you've given me so much hope for a excellent recovery...

I'm going in Wednesday as well...I didn't really start getting anxious until a few days ago and now I can't stay off this app bc I'm trying to get an idea of what to expect..I've been freaking out about getting everything ready for Christmas done before Wednesday, getting the house clean, wondering what I'm gonna eat when I get home from the hospital...they need to put patients on nerve pills at least 3 days before surgery...lol

My surgery is Wednesday and I've been on this journey for surgery since July...and then it seemed so far away and now its only a couple of days...I have been reading post on here since November just trying to prepare myself for the unknown...everyone's experience seems a lil different for each person, I just pray I prepared well enough...

My surgery is this Wednesday as well, I've lost 10 lbs...but my Dr. Gave me 4 cheat dinners that I had to eat lean meat and fruit... I'm getting so nervous, today I washed everything, sort of nesting I guess knowing I won't be able to do a whole lot during the first week...not to mention Christmas is one week away and I'm praying I'm feeling good by then...

My surgery date is December 21st, I was aloud 4 dinners that I could eat lean meat, a starchy food and a vegetable..in the two weeks on the liquid diet...I've had three of my cheat dinners and today I had a snack size bag of chips bc I'm starving..I totally feel guilty about the chips but I've been doing 4 protein shakes a day and I'm able to eat sugar free pudding and jello...having a hard time with my water but I've had a lot of will power most days while cooking dinner for my family and especially today we had a huge Christmas breakfast...I drank my shake...lol

I don't live in Chicago but my surgery date is December 21st also..good luck to you! I stared my liquid diet today and it's definitely a challenge especially when you have to cook for your family...but I honestly didn't feel hungry..I was very surprised...

Glad to know I'm not alone..I started my liquid diet today...it was easy till it was time to cook dinner for my family...this whole process has taken 6 months and knowing that my surgery is only two weeks away, and right before Christmas is a lil more stressful...I'll only be 4 days post op and I pray I'll feel good enough to enjoy the time with family... I'm ready for the next phase!
