Wow very similar situation. I don't feel buyers remorse in spite of all the suffering I went through. Don't get me wrong there were moments I did doubt my choice especially when I kept vomiting. I have a almost nine year old daughter. My mother helped me for about three days then I was on my own. But it's nothing I'm not used to which is probably why I'm as independent as I am. I was never really into cottage cheese but when your on a restricted diet it's like your taste buds change. They do have flavored cottage cheese but I prefer the plain one. @Dknal mmmm what I would give to be able to eat an egg. I'm still only on liquids and protein shake. I want chicken! I did sneak some cotton cheese yesterday and felt so bad but it tastes so good. Update: I'm feeling a lot better since surgery tomorrow is my first follow up appointment I think I lost about 15lbs since surgery date 8 days ago but my cravings for food is so hard. As soon as I woke up from surgery I was in so much pain. I felt like someone stabbed me in my stomach 100s of times. It took three days for the pain to be tolerable.
