Hi guys! I'm a new sleever!

No, I'm not. What I did was just lick the popcorn and then trash it. I don't eat it. I just do it to calm the nauseas. And for me it works fast. I'm not saying is good to do it. Is just the shakes and sometimws the Vitamins are giving me nauseas. But I'm too scared ro eat solid food until my surgeon allowed me. Is something that I will let him know in my next app Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hi guys! I'm a new sleever!

Thank you so much. I'm glad you didn't have any nausea. In my case, the shakes and the Jello they gave me at the hospital make me nauseated. Best wishes for you Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hi guys! I'm a new sleever!

I am taking omeprazole too. I have the Protein Shakes and they are giving me nauseas so is being hard for me to tolerate them. I'm drinking ovwr 70 ounces of Water and crystal light (combined). Something crazy is the butter from the popcorn helps me with the nauseas faster than the pill they gave me. I don't do it often. I tried twice and it worked. Lemonade helps me too with the nauseas. 10. SW: 265 lbs CW: 244 lbs Here I am. In the hospital after having munsrgery yesterday at 1230. I'm not gonna lie. I was so mad that I just want it to punch my husband so hard for convince me this was the best option after try losing weight and 0 results Lol this was painful for me. Is like having contractions (mothers will undertand the pain) For a second I didn't even want to have more kids smh. But here I am feeling better, recovery is going really well. Following Dr. Whipple's instructions. They make you walk every hour your awake for 5 mins. Yesterday was like climbing Mount Everest but late at night I was doing it faster and without pain. The first 6-8 hours are horrible and I was asking myself if it was worth it. It is worth it after all. This is for our health people; to make us happy and satisfied, to see our kids grow up, leave longer... EAT TO SURVIVE, NOT SURVIVE TO EAT!! First day, ice chips( small pieces of ice). Second day, clear liquid diet. Sip Water, eat the ices chips very carefully. In my case, I have to wait 30 secs before putting another spoon of ice in my mouth. *****Dr. Whipple at Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah, GA: the best surgeon in the world. Funny, carismatic, he is just a lovy dobi. He calm my anxiety and my nerves before surgery. I was so anxious and nobody could calm me down but him, not even my hubby (he was eating Taco Bell, Chipotle, Pizzas in front of me ugh I was furious but that's another story.) Returning to Dr. Whipple, he used his carismatic attitud to make sure I was calm and stress out "you are going to be alright, don't worry, I will take care of you." He is just an awesom and amazing surgeon. I recommend him tho. 5 stars, 200% Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

@@ShondaDaDiva Hi future sleever. You are going to be way more nervous and anxious before the same day before surgery. I almost quit, mins before if it wasn't for my surgeon. He was the only who could calm me down and I felt I was in the best hands. I don't know if you are christian or not but something that help me days before was hearing a women call Kathleen on Sid Roth's It's supernatural (I'm a cold christian.) Otherwise make sure you have a good support. Yesterday was my surgery and my surgeon was the one who calm me down, like he was my husband Lol not even my husband could calm me down. I'm a mother and pain for me was like having contractions....For the first 6-8 hrs I decidad not to have another kid Lol I will forget the pain soon when I start seeing babies everywhere. This is for your health and your happines. This is for a new you. Good luck. ****If you have a pre-op diet, I recommend you to start sipping liquids every 20-30 secs you will need to practice before. That is helping me now. I prepare myself to rhe post-op diet and get ready for the burps Lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Day is coming!

Oh wow!! Your progress is awesome!! I'm proud of you. My husband was eating taco bell, chipotle, pizza... I've being having mood swings so I've being arguing with him about this. I beg him to stop all that type of food for at least the first two weeks and he said yes but he didn't so I've being feeling way down but I'm pushing myself to keep going. Thank you for your advice and for sharing your story with me Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Day is coming!

Thank you. I've being on liquid diet for two weeks and is hard for me cause my husband is being eating fast food in my face. So I've being having mood swings because of that. I don't think he is being as supportive as I thought he was going to be. I'm pushing myself to not throw everything thru the window. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

@@chiarraim I'm doing three shakes per day for two weeks. I'm only allowed to take crystal light, broths or stocks, Water, yogurt.... I did the juices of the ham yesterday. Of course wasn't the same. At least you can eat eggs. I cant't and I've craving the egg whites with mozzarella cheese. And I feel the same way when I wake up in the mornings. I feel energized and better. My hunger is going down. I get really hungry around 1700 (5pm) so I'm doing the yogurt in the mornings. I wish I was allowed at least sweet potatoes or a lil bit of ham Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

@@chickee I'm doing fine. Just running to the bathroom Lol I have to take Miralax everyday. I started the liquid diet last tuesday.....yes, two days before Thanksgiving. Wasn't as hard as I thought but still, I want it to eat at least 1/2 oz of my brown sugar honey ham and 1/2 oz of sweet potatoes. Yes, I had to cook the ham which the smell was killing me Lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Down before surgery

Hey guys! I would like to ask if you guys felt down before surgery. I've being feeling down ocassionally. I'm just waiting for the health care plan approval and the surgery date. I don't know if is that I'm anxious or I'm scared about something. Is that normal?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Finally surgery in December 6th.

Premier protein and body fortress. Now the premier protein vanilla ones they are good but for me is just taste to sweet. I prefer the strawberry cream. Body fortress I never tried before but it has 30g of protein per scoop sames as premier protein. I decided to buy body fortress just because I can't find the premier protein powder anywhere and is more expensive to buy them pre-made. That's the only reason. But body fortress in the other hand has 30g so is pretty much equal Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
