    Rash around incisions

    I broke out in hives all over my stomach. I was allergic to the pain meds but had to use it periodically through the first week. Creams made me twitchy to the point of pacing all night. I just had to wait it out but man it was hell. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    I'm gonna have to make it for super bowl cause this is ridiculous. I sitting here trying to rationalize eating foods I know I shouldn't.   10. I too craved baked Beans. I was having a rough week of nausea and not getting in Protein or liquids about 5 weeks post op. I made a can. And yes it had brown sugar and syrup in it. It took me like ten sittings over many days but I ate it. I tasted great and helped me get back on track. I get a nausea gagging feeling every couple hours and sometimes I just have to eat the "comfort" foods or I won't get any thing in. I am still loosing. Just went under 200. Fifty pounds in 8 weeks. Could it have been more maybe or maybe I would have been in the hospital with dehydration or something worse if I didn't give myself a small but tasty break. I don't recommend going crazy but the amount we can eat right now is so small any way. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Blahs

    So I'm almost 5 weeks post op. Pain after surgery was intense but short lived. Been fine since. Can eat but today was the first time I really didn't want to. I have been really good about the Protein shakes but couldn't do it today. Felt yucky all day. Just didn't want to eat or drink. Felt like I would get sick so something. Just having a rough day so thought I would share with people who may understand and not look at me with worry every time a headed to the bathroom. FYI I finally ate after Christmas mass. It did make me feel better but I know I didn't get in all my liquids and Proteins. Needed to vent. Now I can shake my self off and get back on track! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Wasting food

    I'm finding that sometimes the idea of eating the leftovers are turning my stomach. I ate left over before. Just the smell of some in the fridge turns me off. Especially ground beef foods like meatballs and meatloaf. Luckily I live with my dad and he eats them or my 3 pups get a big treat! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Do I tell or say nothing.

    Waitress and waiters. I tell them all cause they are so sad when I order food but only take a few bites. They are all very supportive. You don't need anyone's permission to do this. It's your choice. They will either accept it or not. If they can't get behind you getting healthy pfft on them!! This is an amazing journey. Day 22 and I look great and feel good.     I always used myfitnesspal but dr suggested Baritastic. My fitness has more as far as good but Baritastic is comparable in features and it won't yell at you for too few calories. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
