I am so glad you are feeling better, that sounds so scary!

I just had my surgery yesterday and I'm already home. I was just wondering how everyone felt the day after surgery and the first week?

Teshia- I'm scheduled for May 3rd as well. I started my liquid diet today!

I'm curious too. I start my 2 week pre op diet tomorrow

I just turned 35 yesterday so it is a real worry for me. I am looking for creams or oils that may have worked for others on the process of losing weight. Up until this point I really have not worried about it because the fat fills in my face. I just don't want to end up looking older than I am. CharlotteKat I'm sure you look great and healthy, and healthy is the more important factor in all of this. I need to remind myself of that.

Thanks for the responses. I'm not sure what my sister is talking about because I think everyone looks younger in their after pictures. Thanks blondie66 I'm going to check out those creams. Do you have a web site for facial exercises? I've only seen one for a double chin.

I have noticed that everyone looks amazing in their after pictures but I have a question? For those of you that have a lot of extra skin in the stomach area how do you cover it up with your clothes? From the pictures I would never be able to tell any of you have extra skin. Do you wear something underneath your clothes or is the skin just not that noticeable?

This may be an odd question but my sister keeps telling me that I might look "old" after I have surgery and lose weight quickly. So what happens to your face after surgery? Do your wrinkles show up more? Saggy cheeks? I have no idea? So are there any facial creams or lotions to help with any of this?

Thank you both for your replies. I did pick a surgeon that is in network with my insurance. I spent about 3 days researching the ones I can choose from and finally picked. I tried to make an appointment and was told I had to go to a seminar first. I'm not used to the process at all and I know Health Partners has its own process too. I am just at the beginning stages of this and have some questions regarding timelines with Health Partners. I have not had an appointment with a surgeon yet as I have to go to a seminar first. I am wondering if anyone can help me with a timeline of how everything goes with health partners? My main question is how long it took from your first appointment with the surgeon to your surgery date? I was not expecting all of the required extras health partners has, so just curious how long it took to complete all the phone call requirements and such?
