Yeah we get them too and I had them for 10 days after my daughter was born. Best way is to pinch skin and just dive in, pull out immediately as Ouchie if don't. And NEVER rub the area or you will bruise. Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers [emoji200]

It's taken me 10 years to get this far in our NHS programme and this time round it's taken 18 months to potentially get approved. Trust me, those hopes are easy for your insurance, our NHS states we lose 11lbs we are discharged from service. Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers [emoji200]

gryffen replied to beabetteru's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Once you can do an emergency break without pain here. Insurance can be void if your drive under influence of meds etc and against medical advice. -
From the Uk & need a buddy
gryffen replied to chucklecheeks's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi lass where are you from in UK? Glasgow here! [emoji16] -
For us it's the ability to do a emergency break without pain. If we are prescribed strong painkillers and drive when not advised the police can do us for it. Love Scottish law but makes total sense. Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers [emoji200]

Sounds like irritation from either soap powder or potential sweat. Us ladies all know how bras love keeping soap in the sweat bands around the edges. Try Dermol is possible, use as a soap substitute and also as an emollient. It's the only thing that clears my interigo Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers [emoji200]

It's standard procedure here if you have sleeve or bypass to get B12 injections regular. I already have pernicious anaemia and the tiredness is lethal when I'm running low. I know people will say it's down to recovery and protein/liquids etc but might be worth while checking your folate and b12 levels. Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers [emoji200]

Pregnancy before the one year mark?
gryffen replied to dr3am3rstarz's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yeah 18 months minimum here in Scotland and any pregnant woman who has had wls is automatically high risk so consultant led. (No waterbirths, midwife led etc) I defo know people who have had lapbands and fallen pregnant under a year in, they had to get fills removed and their band shifted due to the baby. NHS denied them a revision as they went against the protocol and risked it. Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers [emoji200] -

Playing Trumpet After Surgery (gastric sleeve)
gryffen replied to Stephen2's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Sounds like your doing the best thing, starting slow and low and then tamping up when your feeling able too. After my classmate caught pneumonia (trombone player) she had to do her breathing exercises and learn how to expand her diaphragm again after the surgery she needed to stop infection. You don't go bright red for no reason so just ramp it up when able too and be safe. Good luck - I'm a piano player so it's same instructions for me when I broke my hand at school. 1st support group meeting today
gryffen replied to JessNewGoals25's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Can't speak for the US version of support groups but I was defo nervous for mine as lots rest on how well you react on the diet your placed on over the 8 weeks. 4*2 hour classes, weighed at each one and they take you through all aspects of diet, life skills, surgery and also during this time you will see surgeon who has last say on surgery. If they say no, you are screwed. Best advice I can give is make a list of questions, no question is stupid and be prepared to be under very strict guidelines. I'm on 3rd class, passed medical and endoscopy and approved by surgeon so just waiting on date. Good luck from Scotland Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers [emoji200] -

HELP needed for sore throat & cold...
gryffen replied to danaymacklin's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

I've used trans acid before and it does work but it's not really designed for long term use. I have a Nexplanon implant which controls mine since I have PCOS and haven't had a full period yet, just spotting. If you do get heavy periods I suggest looking into BC as its the easiest way to control them. The implant, coil and pill are best but Depo has links to DVT according to research. Hi Peeper, up in snowy Scotland myself and have friends go via the One Stop clinic. If I remember right they had a psych evaluation, blood work, ECG, drugs test, endoscopy, colonoscopy if needed. 5 week liver shrink diet and classes to attend. Now that's up here and his insurance via his work was strict for tests but all fine. Were you notified of any tests needing done? Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers [emoji200]

We only use endoscopy to see hernias etc as surgeons need to know size etc. I asked for Barium instead but they said no as its not a good grade marker for surgeons. Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers ????

Maybe try Puffcorn instead? Our toddler is still too young for popcorn (under 3 apparently aren't allowed it as choking hazard) so Puff corn is made from rice that has no kernels. Normally found in baby aisles and made by Organix Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers ????

Our nhs programme is overnight stay for lapband, minimum 3 days for sleeve. Nhs doesn't so bypass so not sure what it is private Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers ????

Every doctor is different, we are allowed ibuprofen as long as it's not for constant use - twice a month usage for me on bad days has been approved. Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers ????

I use the unbranded version of Feminax. Ibuprofen and lysine work amazing well to kill pain in the body and is available in US & here in UK. It works very well for migraines too, hope you can find some relief Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers ????
