Well, actually, I thought perhaps it was one of those XXX threads.....LMAO

Actually, 3-25 would be great. That is the same day as the Easyrider Bike Show in Dallas and I was considering coming up there for that.

Sarah, when Joy had hers out, she was experiencing shooting pains in her back, just under her right shoulder blade. It was what I now know as "referred pain". When they did her ultrasound, the gall bladder was throwing a "shadow", a dark area, opposite the ultrasound wand, which showed that her gall bladder was full of stones.

Terri, it ain't nearly as bad as you can make it out to be in your mind. Think of the WORST thing that could happen, short of dying, and you won't come anywhere near that. Janet, don't feel bad, we have to drive about 35 miles just to go to the dang WalMart. And that's an impressive list.....just forgot OOOoooooone little thing. Where is the Jason's Deli???? LMAO (it's a joke, people...)

:update: Joy has "fibrous tumors" within her uterus. The doctor did a hysteroscopy (sp). He used a scope to look inside. He took a couple of biopsy samples to test. From his experience, none of them looked cancerous. Prognosis is continue as is or have a hystorectomy some time down the road. He said she looked like a good candidate for a "vaginal" hystorectomy, done under a spinal and a sedative.... MsJoy says she's not ready for more surgery at this time... (side note) When informed of her band, he wanted to know if she had the one that was self adjustable. This question came just after Joy tried to give him a copy of the Inamed information page about her band. But he informed her that he "knew" about the band.....*sigh*

Ok, our first child, Wesley, was in and out of the doctor's office with ear infections about every six weeks. In, antibiotics, out....back in. Finally we were sent to the eye/ear/nose and throat doctor. He looks through Wes' records, checks him out, looks at us (we're like 23/24 years old) and says, "What do you think we should do?" What the heck? You're the d@mn doctor! Not us! Cuuuuuuuuurap!

Make it RED lipstick...... And there is no way I would EVER want to go back to my twenties. Tis better to take the mature path. Not nearly as many nerves to overcome. No reason to pussyfoot around, you both know why you're there. Heck, one or both of you might have a heartattack at any moment....LOL

Kathy, MsJoy and I both took Wellbutrin when we were quitting smoking. I don't recall any effects from it and maybe that is what it was designed to do. We've been smoke free for 3.5 years. After quitting and taking the Wellbutrin for about 1.5 months, we simply quit taking it. No problems.

Paulax, so in Canada you have to wait, like, six months for your surgery? Or is there just that long of a line? Are you worried that they might meet their "quota" before they get to you and stop doing that procedure for the year? -
Hiya Thinderella, 'sup? LOL I do my best not to critisize (sp) but I'll answer just about any question I can. And I'm sure that there will be someone in here who can answer the rest of them....

Hi Lizzy, and welcome to the forum of Lapbandia. You're doing a great job with your band and I'm sure that you couldn't be happier. I'm sure your experiences will be good advice for the people in here.

Mystjin, looks good to me. -
Sparkling, at my DW's doctor's office they numb the port area before giving you a fill. She had a bit of bruising afterwards, but they also had a little trouble finding her port. They needed the LONG needle and all they had were the short needles.
-
Karrie, you're from Tyler? I was, too. A very long time ago. I went to Bell Elementary School for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades back in the early 60's.
-
*waving* Hiya Sunni.... And Sam, I'll be down your way for the Republic of Texas Motorcycle Rally in June.
-
Jana, a PB is a "productive burp". I've read it explained lots of ways and I compare it to a baby spitting up. Not really puking, but more than just gas.

Congratulations Carola.....many happy losses and a quick recovery.
