Well I am home now, very weak but happy I am home, drinking is hard but I trying to do it, Ice chips and Popsicle are good Funniest part is my stomach is growling.... Go figure I want to eat but tried pudding and it was a struggle. walking resting and gas x strips are a must have. I have had an excellent recovery compared to my room mate at the hospital and a few others... They could not get out of bed , many did not even realize where they were. Worried about feeling hungry taking it 1 step at a time

This is something I fear. I had a full hysterectomy 2 years ago, and am scheduled for my surgery in 2 days. I stopped the hormone Patches 4 months ago but looks like that may have a mistake . Thank you for sharing , I will let you know how it all effects me assuming I still have the surgery, Thank you for sharing . I hope it gets better soon. If you need someone to vent to let me know.

How much has everything been required to lose before surgery?
Military Ma replied to InspectorJensen's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ok Its Monday morning and I am officially 2 days away from surgery. Insurance approved, pre testing complete labs done and upper gi passed on Friday..... WHY AM I freaking out! I am sleep walking , which I have not done in years, I am not hungry but obsessed with food, I feel like I am going to sabotage myself. I guess I should explain... I know I have mentioned I do not really eat.... well I eat but not well, I had lost 6lbs so far on the pre op diet, back in the day I used to sleep walk and eat....have not done that in years, I woke up in my daughters room a couple of days ago still so not know why.... I have been having nightmares about the dr cancelling the surgery today I woke up in the basement with an empty cookie tin and crumbs everywhere. I was covered in crumbs! I do not even want to go near the scale. I searched my daughter room and found a few empty cartons of ice cream. I have no idea why I am doing this to myself! I am sure the liquid diet has been erased along with the weight loss, NOW what , I left a messages for my dr . maybe I am not ready for this, maybe I dont deserve it. I need it and want it , but I may be just setting myself up for another excuse to fail. I never thought of myself like a "fat person" but the last 3 days shows different. I am my own worst enemy and now I am sitting here feeling like a failure. Fearful that I ruined this opportunity to have my health back. I am weak I have some messed up mind crap, and am unable to find the strength needed to reach the simplest of goals. 10 lbs in 2 weeks. I hate myself for letting this happen. SUCH A LET DOWN. -
OK WELL had my weigh in last week on;ly 4 lbs down need to lose 10 or dr will cancel .... so worried. I have no energy and 2 days to drop left to drop 6.. I hate the scale and I do not want to know where I am . I can do this I have to stay positive
-
All I do is drink and drink .... My head is killing me I live in the bathroom... TMI I know but 8 days to go . Keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow morning. that is all I can do
-
Still hanging on hoping that the scale has moved day 7 quickly approaching busy with planning surgery and hopeful that I will see some results tomorrow. Just keep telling myself 7 days to go . Sent from my SM-N900P using the BariatricPal App

I am new here, hoping to get some advice. My insurance required 12 week pre op program. I am 2 weeks away from the finish line and I feel like I am running in circles as soon as I complete one test or receive clearance I am told I need 4 or so more. I am about to scream , I don't get why they keep adding new obstacles. I should have my surgery date next week and I can't get the referral to meet the surgeon! I am so ready to give up. I have used all my vacation, pto and my life revolves around this program 6 to 8 hrs a week I am a full time student dbl major work 60 hrs a week and have other obligation. How have you all done this ? I have no free time, nothing just stressed. Anyone have suggestions Sent from my SM-N900P using the BariatricPal App

I know how you feel not to that extent but I am back to fighting to get this done, I have less than 2 weeks to drop another 10 or my surgeon will cancel as well. We will make it one way or another, I have no idea how I am going to drop this extra 10, but I will do it. Good LUCK
