    I'm so worried....

Honestly, sorry to be blunt but it could just be poop. Because we eat a little amount, sometimes it takes a while for the food to process. Also if you weighed yourself when you had very little Water weight and then later weighed your self when you had food and water weight it could be that you haven't gained a single pound maybe you even lost some fat. Just talk to a nutritionist, exercise and try not to worry too much

    is anyone having these isues

You should be drinking about 64 oz of liquids or more, that's a given, I drink herbal tea to get my liquids in. I would talk to your surgeon and ask, maybe you should be eating a bit more food, but that's just my opinionAs far as the pain, that happens to me as well, and feeling like throwing up, sorry

    Cheat day?

Like someone else said, it's a prescription. Your body is recovering, your stomach was cut up and sewn together, it needs time to heal. I reccomend you leave "cheat" days out of it, it'll only make things worse. Once you are on regular food, you can decide how much you care about being healthy. Am I crazy?

Please make sure not to rush yourself, I went back to school a week after, but needed help doing most things for at least 3 weeks afterwards, I couldn't do stairs until that time. Just let your body tell you what it needs and listen to it Sent from my LG-K330 using the BariatricPal App

    Tempting

Honestly, I think this is the best time of year to just have had surgery, we are restricted as hell and so we don't binge and gain a bunch of weight. We'll be losing fat and be ready for the summer. Also, if we can get through this, we can get through anything! Sent from my LG-K330 using the BariatricPal App

I have come further than I thought...

Biggest difference is definitely my side shot.

I have come further than I thought...

It really has been a burden, being plus sized never meant a huge booty and chest for me. Thanks for the encouragement, I really appreciate it Sent from my LG-K330 using the BariatricPal App
  8. It's been 8 weeks, 2 months, since my surgery and I have lost 47 lbs, and 7 inches off my waist, I wanted to put this up as a motivational reminder to myself.

Best Scales for Measuring Body Fat/Muscle?

I reccomend the Weight Watchers Body Fat scale, it tells you your weight, but also you can customize it for up to 4 people to measure body fat, Water percentage, bone density and bmi. It's awesome and accurate, and is important because sometimes you don't lose weight, but you do lose fat Sent from my LG-K330 using the BariatricPal App

    I'm struggling with muscle loss.

Something that I didn't see many people talking about are the exercises that you're doing. If you want to gain muscle or at least keep your muscles toned when you have to do a lot of lifting. When my mom started running a lot and biking she lost a lot of lean muscle mass. I was Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting before my surgery and even though I wasn't losing weight I was definitely getting a lot stronger. I would suggest increasing the amount of weight lifting that you do, making sure that the weight is high and the reps are low only do a little bit of cardio if what you're worried about is muscle loss. Feeling tired and sore is a good thing as long as you're keeping up with everything else. Sent from my LG-K330 using the BariatricPal App

    PreOp UTI?

I also had a UTI right before the surgery. Crushing and drinking the antibiotocs was the worst thing ever. I feel you... Good luck Sent from my LG-K330 using the BariatricPal App

    Under 200lbs!

Hi there! I've been reading and looking at plenty of great stories and advice on this website. I decided I should put up my progress so far. I started at 243lbs and now I'm at about 199lbs. My sleeve surgery was October 25th, 2016, and I started pre op exactly 1 week before that on the 18th. So, I guess I've lost like 44lbs in about 8 weeks. Feeling pretty good and looking forward to losing the next 40lbs. Starting Weight 243lbs Current Weight: 199lbs Weight lost: 44lbs (8 weeks) Height: 5'5 Age: 20

    Newbie question

You should get GENEPRO, it's unflavored protein, 30g per 1 tbsp, mixes instantly, can buy on Amazon and you can just add to skim milk, tea, Water, or something else. (I do almond milk). I was doing protein shakes the first few weeks and couldn't take it anymore. Also, my pre-op diet was 7 days, they said it was because I was on the smaller side and didn't need me to really lose that much weight. Everyone is different Also, a lot of people do 6 months because it's required by their insurance, not because of the surgeon's decision Sent from my LGLS990 using the BariatricPal App
