I get numbness on the top outer thighs ,I'm pretty sure it is because of the nerves that travel from my trunk to my legs get compressed due to my hanging fat. I notice it more the longer I stand or walk. If I roll up a sock or paper towel so it is about 2" thick and place it in the fat fold that rests on my thigh it lifts the weight off just enough to prevent the nerves from being squished.
