Benefiber was my relief after surgery..5 days I couldn't go and tried stool softeners..beenefiber was my friend for a week everyday and then the relief was amazing and now regular.. But when I feel I need it its a cabinet away and tasteless n colorless so it's not intimidating ..much success with you: D Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

Post op- multivitamins
My4Brownies replied to jaidaleann's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Guess Evey doctor is different because my surgeon wanted me to start them when I did my one week pre op liquid because of the nutrients I was losing before and week after surgery n he didn't want my numbers low....my sleeve was Nov 9 and been on them since a week before but it helped me develop a routine to take my multi w/d in the am when I wake up to get it out the way and then set my alarm no phone for my calcium cus I was not a good pill taker before good luck on your journey.. No protein until 3 weeks out?
My4Brownies replied to Townsend143's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I also had to have Protein in the hospital and was instructed to drink in daily as tolerated to help with healing/muscle nutrient since I wasn't getting all of it from food intake. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App -

Losing weight to slow after gastric sleeve?
My4Brownies replied to ChunkyMonkeyGoneSlim's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was not given a "you better lose this by this time" guideline..During the process of visits before Surgery (Nov 9), we only spoke of what I wanted to lose and my expectations of the journey..I hate that they put that mental stress on you because that is something we all have stressed about (weight)...I hope you find your pace and reach your goal in your own time..no worries.
