I got the sleeve on Nov 9th I researched my options for 2yrs..struggled with my wait for 20..My doctor made suggestion ..mostly bypass but I o me that was a little to invasive for me..sleeve gives my that gradual weight lost without detaching my intestines or a clap..I have no regrets..this site has been good also by being honest with the pain, struggles and accomplishments..I'm grate for everyone who share their story Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

My co worker was happy for me..we were going to go thru the journey together n she bailed..all the way b4 my surgery she made comments of doing it her way and I don't k ock anyone's method but I have been battling my weight for 20yrs n 2 yes preparing myself for my sleeve.. I needed my body to put me in the right direction because mentally I failed me..cleanses, diets, pills..etc..I am not regretful for my decision at all..I'm proud of myself for finally making this choice for me. I have it on Wednesday the 9th..sluggish but the kids keep me laughing , L hate the shakes now..but trying to push thru..having some eight side pain..when he went in he repaired a hernia I had no Idea I had..so I think my pain is from that and not my sleeve.. I had surgery Wednesday and I haven't been on a scale ..going to at my follow up visit..don't own one at home..so I'm anxious to see what my lost will be..hard taking the Protein shakes now I loved them for preop but now taste more like chalk..ughhh but I'm trying. Hello thank you for the prayers..I am going home this evening..Yes.cus this bed sucks..Pain is tolerable.. On meds but has a high pain tolerance cus I hate being drownsy all the time..The drink they have you take for the xr tho is the only time I threw up..awfully sweet so it came back up..walked the hall n walked in place after going to bathroom on my own..I know this is,TMI..but I want to poop but haven't yet..ughhhh Thank you guys for all the support n information.. Strangely on this journey I maintained the same weight for 5 months..yes it surprised me and dietician.. I have been on liquid diet for 2nd day for surgery on Nov 9th and lost 3..WHAT!!!! ????..before my pre-op I did indulge at Halloween party on 10/29...but nothing since..mentally getting ready for next few months???? I get this completely..I'm 5,4, 268 and bmi morbid obese for my frame..and I made a mistake and told 2 ppl at work..very private person..both happy for me at the time but closer to my leave 1 seems resentful of my decision by making weight option comments to other employees when don't know why I'm taking off..I realize my journey is mine as well as my struggle was..it took me 12 yes or more to make my decision and I have no regrets for my Nov 9 date..good luck to you and as long as you doing this for you and making great decisions for tour life style changeITS ALL GOOD???? I have to do 7day pre op. And I'm 2 days in ..headache yesterday bad..slighr this morning...but geesh I've been to the bathroom 108 times..lol. No diarrhea tho..I have chronic IBS so I will see how that works after surgery???? Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

I never had any other surgery but I been on a Jo Jo with weight all my life, always the bigger friend and biggest sister..I am also a private person so this decision was mine and mine alone.
