so my question is for those who have crohns or celiacs disease or something along the lines. I start my liquid diet on Tuesday and ive been fine up until now. I'm not afraid of the actual surgery itself, but I am afraid how my body is going to react to the liquid diet. I'm just really concerned with having a flare- yes because its painful and inconvenient but mostly because i dont want my surgery postponed because of inflammation. help a girl calm her nerves. pleaseee. lol

That was my concern... the sugar free stuff and all the fake stuff putting my body in shock and my gut not being too happy lol Definitely excited to be a healthier me! It's crazy the things my body learned to handle and that after all these years, sugar free/ fake sugars etc can have such an affect. Goes to show how much I've screwed up my body lol Are you post op? SO crazy how soon it is. I'll admit that I'e been having food funerals which I know is a big nono. I'm not worried-- what i am worried and already thinking about is 1year+ post op.

I start my liquid diet the day before thanksgiving () which I am fine with. It more concerned with having to lie to everyone as to why I'm not eating... I was wondering what Protein drink you all preferred for pre op? I can't do chalky or too thick. And I'm trying to keep it at a reasonable price. I also have Crohn's disease so I'm trying to stay away from things like Premier Protein because all of the crap in there and I don't want to end up having a flare up. And suggestions?
