My very first appointment was June 15th and my surgery is scheduled for the 15th of this month. My approval took a little less than 3 weeks. I'm in NJ too! I was the same as you. As soon as I could I made sure I made all my appointments. I am now finished with all my requirements and am in the beginning of my pre op liquid diet. I'll be sleeved 11/15/16 by Dr. Wasser also???? Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App

I know exactly how you feel. Since I've started the journey of trying to get the surgery done I've been nothing but optimistic! I didn't second guess it not even once or was ever nervous. I'm currently in day 2 of my pre op liquid diet and today was the first time I ever thought twice about it. Besides the splitting headache that won't go away I work at a restaurant, which is basically torture considering I'm starving! It sucks now but I know in the end it'll all be worth it! Hang in there!
