The pain really isn't all that bad. I had asked for non narcotics (so basically Tylenol) because I knew the harder stuff tends to make people sick and I was completely off of them by day 2. You will experience some discomfort but gas and all that but it really won't be all that bad unless you try and do a lot of extra moving around. Yeah I had the issue for a while too. Only my family knows that when I want something I'm going to do what I have to do to get it. So they don't even try to fight too much lol but just go for what YOU feel is right. You're an adult and can make those types of decisions for yourself. To be honest I was supposed to be on a 2 week all liquid diet pre op...but didn't follow it much. I worked at a fast pace restaurant and sticking strictly to the diet would have resulted in me have a throbbing headache mid shift and most likely passing out. So I modified it to what I know most people are allowed to do. I'd have one premier Protein shake for Breakfast and have a no carb, high protein lunch and dinner. In between if I got hungry I'd drink broth, and of course tons of Water. I ended up losing 12 pounds in that amount of time. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App

I am now 2 days post op and my back is killing me! I do have a lot of soreness from the incisions but I can't even get comfortable enough to go to sleep! (I'm a big stomach sleeper so that's obviously out) I had to spend an extra day in the hospital so I figured thats what it was but even after medicine and laying in my own bed it has yet to go away! Sooo I had my sleeve less than 24hrs ago and I feel like crap...obviously I know. The pain isn't too bad but the gas pressure is intense! On top of that every time I get up to pee I get the hiccups...which is very painful! As also whenever I try to adjust myself I get nauseous out of nowhere and end up "throwing up/dry heaving. My doctor also said that the procedure its self was a little difficult because my stomach was really thick, which is unusual. Has anyone experience any of these things post op?
